So much cocksucking on one thread! If you guys are done sucking each other's d.i.c.k.s, I'll just say the fact still stands that Hoffa tried bribery. Yes, it failed but he still attempted it, and it shows what type of person he really is.
And as far as I know he can't use union resources for campaign activity. So why do you say things like "the treasury was drained" when it was his money that was spent and not the Unions? A house built on a weak foundation won't stand for long, so let's see what we lose in the next contract.

TDU brings attention to problems concerning Teamsters nationwide. I'm not saying I want TDU to control our union, but it is good that they address and report about problems that our union doesn't seem to want to fix.
I think weak leadership among local unions is what makes people turn to TDU for help. So the problem is not really TDU but the few assholes in the union who just want to collect a paycheck off of dues-paying members, do as little as possible, and put the member's concerns last.
It seems the union is getting more into politics and looking out more for the higher-ups, and their career advancement; selling out the workers in the process.

But the funny thing is, John Conley was part of Tobin's slate for the delegate convention earlier this year. So I'm sure he's not as clean as he'd like us to think! First he was supporting Tobin, now he's not. He just want's Tobin's paycheck. I doubt the members will see much difference if "The Con" gets elected.
Conley also supports Lealan Raley, the guy who sent pornographic emails to business agents at Local 150. What's up with that? If Tobin's gotta go then everyone involved with the sex scandal at 150 needs to go too! Let's get Perry Hogan out too. Word is that he ain't doin s.h.i.t. for the members at the Rancho hub.

I don't think she'll win. And I only ever saw Gegare as a tool to pull votes from Sandy anyway. I mean he was on Hoffa's slate before and when word got out Sandy was running, here comes Fred!

He's just in it for himself obviously.
He has some feeder drivers on his slate who have never been shop stewards that are running for business agent positions. Word around the hub is that Conley is dirty; he's screwed more than a few people when he was a business agent.
Did you check out the website he put up to bash Jim Tobin? Oops! Seems he removed all the info he had on there. Some one must of said something.
