Good for you Shaman,
Until some of these people have been in the nitty gritty of an organizing campaign they really have no idea what is happening in the organizing department. Promotion is not based on merit it is solely based on if you kiss the right butt!! Those staff organizers that dare speak up better watch out because the management doesn't want anyone that can think on their own as that letter shows, those organizers that signed that letter were not thinking for themselves they were doing as they were told by Jeff and Kim, because they know that they could be next on the chopping block.
These organizers need protection because even if they are a brilliant organizer, if they don't "play by the rules" they will be let go.
I don't have a dog in this fight but I have worked for this department under this management team and I stand behind these organizers 100% because I know the risk they are taking by standing their ground.
Public pressure is one of the best tools available and this is indeed one of the right places to put that pressure. I know they read this blog because i have watched them do it. Those that think we shouldn't be airing our dirty laundry on this site should make their opinions known to the management staff at the IBT. Tell them to settle this now!
