I also remember there personal lawyer Martin Costello was the main negotiater for the IBT during the international negotiations with its employees. He was the one who wrote the letter to the locals saying the IBT would use replacement workers. Costello is Keegel and Slawson's personal lawyer and is the one writing everything on Gegare's website that Brad runs.
fact remains that Hoffa the genearl president of the Teamsters crossed the picket line and signed the letter to let scabs into the internatioanl building. Hoffa knowingly flew on Northwest during the strike and Hoffa signed the letter. SEIU gave Stern a walk and the Teamsters should give Hoffa the same walk. -

Barking Dog, on September 05 2010 - 01:06 PM, said:General President Hoffa desevres a tribute and specail recoginition for his leadreship. He had promised 25 & out and then conceeded the union pension to UPS. He had promissed no dues increase and then pushed thru the biggest dues hike in the histroy of the union. He promised to restore pride and untity and then created the biggest divide in organizied labor histroy with the change to win. He has filled the internatioanl building with non Teamsters and consultnants after rpomising to hire Teamsters. He contines to stand by and watch the politcians take on the UAW and teachers unions while still giving politcial money to the same politicans that gutted the EFCA. Hoffa should be recoginized for the job he and his non Teamster consultanants are doing.
almost forgot to mentoin Hoffa crossing the Northwest mechnanics picket lines and Hoffa authorziing the use of scab replacement workers during the internatioanl negotiations with its employees and Hoffa sitting in firstlady Bush's box seating for George Bushs state of the union address. HOffa really does desereve a special tribute for all of these. -

Gegare doesn't like the fact that Hoffa was personally involved in Joint Council 43 elections because the Principle Officer doesn't support him. I agree. I don't like it either.

Hoffa even sent the internatioanls head legal counsel, Brad Raymond, to obsevre the vote count. Definite internatioanl involvement. -
In Topic: Gegare Slate Doesn't Get Enough Petitions
September 03 2010 - 07:10 AM
DirtyDairy, on September 02 2010 - 01:03 PM, said:The petitions are in...for the Hoffa-Hall campaign. Hoffa-Hall submitted 105,000 petitions - the most in Teamster history.
The Gegare Slate - zip, zilch, zero, nada, nothing. In addition to the embarrassing decision against Lucio, it looks like wunderboy Freddie Zuckerman couldn't even get a measly 6,000 petitions.
So when you check out the battle pages - that'll be 11+ for Hoffa-Hall and 0 for Gegare.
Time to hang up the vanity campaign boys - your days are numbered.
so he does not get free spcae in next the internatioanl magazine. Big deal. The membres know better and the electoin is hardly anyway near over just becuase of petitions. Did all of Hoffas boys make their petittions? Think not. -

Henry Perry: "That guy from the Green Mile"
Lucio Reyes: "That stupid grape picker" and "Ricky Ricardo"
Maria Martinez: "wetback cunt"
Dottie Malinsky: "Mrs. Marty Feldman"
This guy is going to show up at TNBC this week with a record like that?
just the same as Hoffa showing up to suppport Henry Perry. Has Hoffa finisheed his depositions yet?
