Actually I did write the letter within 5 days of this incident. Never heard back from management or my union rep regarding this matter. The only thing I heard was from a former worker, she overheard a conversation about how impressed they were with my writing skills. WTF. I guess it's in the past and we move on. Funny how a few days later our supervisor was out training us on this specific matter.
it doesn't always happen overnight. They have to meat with the manager and possibly the labor manager. And ups will more than likely refuse to pull it but you will have your protest on file.

D.R.I.V.E.
Democrat Republican Independent Voter Education
Now no one is obligated to contribute but I don't believe in would be a burden to donate a couple dollars a payck. Unless you are extremely opposed to the candidates they donate to. But the Teamsters will base there support according to pro-union candidates as they should and I would hope that would be there sole concern. Now you probably will never find a candidate that you'll be 100% satisfied with. So I always try to pick the one who comes closest to my beliefs. But as we all know, what they say or voting records aren't always clear since they say one, do another and there are so many things crammed into a bill that they may vote for one because there is something in it they want while being against the rest. And as we've seen time and time again, they say what we wanna hear then when in office they never follow through.

"To Farley": verb. Definition: to knowingly make false claims, to be dishonest, to lie, to continue to attempt to cover up previous lies with additional instances of dishonesty.
Usage: As in trial oath: "Do you promise to tell the truth, the whole truth, and not to "Farley"? Or, "Don't Farley me!"

"Farley": noun: A lie, a dishonest statement.
Usage: "He told her when they started dating that he had a bundle of money, but that was all a big Farley". Or "At first I thought it was a little white lie, but it turned out to be a pretty good-sized Farley".
LOL! Now by what I have gathered about you from your post since I've been on T-Net, you don't apply a lot of humor to your post. But that was very funny. Not saying I support your assertion, just that it was halarious and am thankful I wasn't on the receiving end of it.

Bottom line, Hoffa and team won this election by a wide margin over the other candidates. Now lets move past this and work to grow and strengthen our union.
