eggy? if you read my post you would clearly see that I wrote "in fact there was a govt program in 70's to hire government workers to alleviate the problem" again proving you have a short attention span or are dishonest....eh eggY?........Leonardo da Vinci once said about people like you that are blinded by hyper-partisanship....."The greatest deception men suffer is from their own opinions"..........and I was employed in 1969....by the USMC...but upon discharge was faced, like many other veterans, with a tough job market.....thankfully the government reacted with the PEP program......you know..... the exact opposite of what is happening today and championed by the goBP who couldn't care less about unemployed veterans.........but then we digress as you have again tried to dishonestly divert attention from the fact that capital flight is the result of greedy unpatriotic traitors trying to avoid paying their share for the system that enambed their wealth......eh eggy??

About Me
I was an active Teamster for over 40 years, and am now retired. I began my Teamster membership as a part-time loader at UPS while attending school. When I graduated (BA in Political Science) I joined the USMC and was discharged in 1969 (honorably) The economy sucked back then so I went back into the freight business. I worked for several freight companies, some beverage, some Drive-Away auto transport. In the early 80's my Local Union sponsored an organizing seminar and I was given the opportunity to attend. Eventually I was hired as a business representative, where I served two different Local Unions until my retirement. I continued to work as a consultant assisting in some situations that could utilize my experience.
Before I went to work for the Union I went to some PROD meetings....the original Teamster reform group. They were absorbed by the toodleoo (TDU). I went to a couple of toodleoo meetings , one where their non-Teamster CEO, Ken Paff, was instructing some UPS employees to lie and use deception to win grievances regarding Union bulletin boards. That soured me on toodleoo, and when they actually elected a crooked incompetent, Ron Carey, and he nearly bankrupted the Union, I could see they were not what they said they were.

eggy, guess you missed the Nixon wage and price controls and the govt program to kick start the economy with government jobs.....in fact the big airplane city (Seattle) had a billboard that stated "Will the Last Person Leaving Seattle Please Turn Off the Lights"..........................your blustery dishonesty just does not fly....eh eggy?

the sad thing scabby...is that you might actually believe what you write......and you have it exactly sdrawkcab (backwards backward)....actually people like him need people like me....because it was (is) people like me (with marginal keyboard skills) who work and pay the taxes that provided the environment for him to become a billionaire.......We provided him the internet, the delivery vehicle, the computer technology, the military, fire, and police protection, the educated users, water. sewer, libraries..etc etc...and now instead of sucking on a bong in a dorm room he is about to gifted with billions.....he thinks he solely "earned"....what a joke....No we don't need him, we just need to recoup some of our investment before he runs away and hides....you know like (va)MITT RawMoney did with his Swiss and Cayman Island tax dodges
