Assuming you're patriotic and an astute observer of current events, you will condemn the Obama postion and aggressive prosecutorial actions launched against the several young U.S. Marines who were recently video taped urinating on four dead Taliban insurgents following a fire fight in Afghanistan, by a fellow U.S. Marine, who irresponsibly propelled the event to the internet and, perhaps, wholly unaware of the political implications, the repercussions, the stinging and treasonous actions by the Obama administration against (all) U.S. Military combat hardened personnel. Although some of you Teamsters are not cognazant of Obama's marxist political philosophy, his tenure in The White House as commander in chief has weakened the U.S. Military (and) morale and it is vital to all Teamsters, incumbent on all of us, to vote against him in the presidential election early November 2012. I am not opposed to a democrat in The White House, and I'm unhappy with the republican contenders; however, Mitt Romney is the most competent to be the U.S. president and he will address unequivocably, without delay, Iran and the ominous threat against Israel (and) the United States. A vote against Obama is a condemnation of his anti-American sentiment, and hopefully it will avert a catastrophic action by Iran and Islamic radicals we will likely experience if Obama is reelected. It is essential for government leaders to defend combat hardened U.S. Military personnel against alledged wrongdoing in the heat of battle, particularly in this instance. When they fail, the military falters, and we become a weakened nation and enslaved by communism, or radical Islam. ---A.R. "Bobby" MacKeil, Local 25, Boston, Massachusetts.

Bobby, why so dishonest when expressing an opinion???? Old Bomba, a Marxist???? you just blew any point you were trying to make by such unsupported hyperbole by making yourself look like a reichwing idiot....after all it is obvious that Old Bomba is a center right corporatist.....actually far to the right of the likes of Nixon, Eisenhower, Dole, etc..... However I do wish the Old Bomba administration, particularily Eric "Alberto Gonzales" Holder would go after the Wall Street criminals with the same verve they go after the Marines......As a Marine myself (1967-1969) part of the training was the Geneva Convention treatment of prisoners and battle dead....and these guys knew better....but then 10 years of involvement in illegal wars will skew your brain. These Marines are more patients that prisoners.....how many more young Americans have had their mellons scrambled????? What happens when they come home? What have we allowed to be done in our name???? That is the real crime.

Hardcore, your anonymity is cowardly and you are the antithesis of what you purport to be. I am the conscience of societal woe and I have always asserted my name when I delineate in writing troubling issues, and I frequently endure the wrath of retaliation. I'm a poet and not a political activist and I'm uninterested in a contentious engagement with an Occupy Wall Street movement Bolshevik, a member of the distressing troublemaking communists and anti-semites sowing dissent and violence throughout the United States and instilling fear and anxiety among the elderly and the very young, and destablizing our democratic government. It is crystal clear that you're a Ron Paul proponent, and that nut is more threatening to our national security than Obama. If Ron Paul is the Republican nominee, I will implore all Teamsters to vote for Obama. Isolationism is passivity and our great nation will not survive on that inept doctrine of disengagement. And I, too, was taught the Geneva Convention, as all of us who serve in the U.S. Military. But in war, our enemies do not comply with that agreement at all. Your disappointing comments on the young U.S. Marines is an abomination of betrayal of the U.S. Marine creed of defending fellow U.S. Marines. Obviously Viet Nam realigned your psychology, though change is an evolving phenomenon that takes decades to solidify.
