I would like to inform the General Membership that after 75 years of being around through very hard times, and the last ten years being over run by Corrutpion. After a few members from local 82 stood up to the thugs and Corrupt Union Leader who was only elected after three elections in a row that were fixed . After notifying Hoffa of these fixed election and his corrupt acts not only did Hoffa allow this to continue he gave Perry a $50,000 a year bump by appointing Perry to the IBT Trade Show Director. So as the memebrs were black listed and CBA violations were stacking up the members continued to inform the IBT. After a number of Charges were filed at a corrupt Joint Council 10 they let Perry Sell the only asset that local 82 had its' building. They also tanked case after case agaisnt Perry and his E board. While Joint Council 10 leaders picked and chose what cases they would hear. They were violating their own By-Laws and were noticed of them doing so. I will give you a few Quotes from Sean O'Brien during these hearsing " Us members of JC 10 hold SOME integrity ",
"I make the RULES hear " Dave Laughton " I would have to buy a file cabinet to hold copies of all CBA's"

Both of these UNION LEADERS have a duty as Trustees of the Pension Fund and as officers to enforce the IBT CONSTITUTION AND THE CBA'S , AFTER being notified daily that the Companies are violating the CBA and costing members loss of hours and benifits they refuse to act not only as Officers but they have a Fiduciary Duty to take action but feel to take action why?

After a Year of Hoffa Appointed Trustees Denis Taylor and Kevin Mc Dermott sat and kept the voices of the members from being heard Hoffa is allowing Sean O'Brien to take over the local with out a member ship vote . We had Perry using our funds like a personal ATM and Hoffa alloud this to go on as did O'brien we have 12 million in our H/W , and almost 400,000 in our general fund instaed of allowing an election to happen so we can govern ourselves we are told that On December 31, 2011 theres a meeting to ionform the memebrs thatHoffa has gave our local to 25 and as of 1,1,12 O'Brien and Company will take full control.

These corrupt union leaders are punishing the member of 82 for fighting to rid their local of from Corrupt Hoffa Bud John Perry. Perry is under investigation by a Federal Grand Jury and we are told the the investigation is not stopping there and they are looking into Joint Council 10 , Dave Laughton , Sean O'Brien , Gerry Gross, and when Perry finds out he 's getting 20 and find 10 million he will be rolling over , I believe Hoffa and Company will be getting a visit and that will be the end so I hope the Apponted position you have created for your friends and family was worth it. And I hope the use some of that cash to send you some cash in the can......................

I would like to point out that O'Brien will be taking 12 million and $380.000 from 82 with the approval from Hoffa, leaving the members from 82 without any say in their future. According to the IBT Constitution we should be voting on this.

Hoffa has allowed John Murphy , Dave Laughton, John Perry, Bill Hamilton, Denis Taylor, Kevin Mc Dermott and Sean O'brien and many other Corrupt leaders ( feel free to list your corrupt leader) to run our locals into the ground and only take care of a select few.


I have been told there is a few guys making this forced merger tough by entering federal court to get an Injunction to prevent this from happening. Hoffa and his Trustees are violating the Conscent Decree and Federal and state laws by not notifying the DOL about Trustee ships. They also are violating EBSA (Employer Benifit Security Administrators) Rules by not have Health plans ran at 51% or more.

If your health plan has less than 51% members qualifying than you should conatct the Department of Labors OLMS office,
Your local U S Attorneys office , as well as the EBSA offices. Lets stop our money for H/W from being a pay day for a Hoffa Pals if we all act and take action, we and only we can take a chomp out of crime just like Marvin Halger did for Cable. While you struggle to get hours for Health Insurance these guys are banking tons of cash for you breaking your back working while you cant get insurance.

We don't the TDU to Take back our Union we need Unity in each local and member looking out for eachother because our leaders are only looking out for their family and friends if you don't suck and kiss ass then your screwed and thats not what unions should be like. This way unions are took years to get here and it can't be fixed over night but we need toi fix it and start now. DAY BY DAY and Leader by Leader lets take our union back to a place were we are proud to say i'm a TEAMSTER and we are over a MILLION STRONG............................

So let me get this straight it would be in my best interest to brush up on or understand the IBT Constitution, now would that be to view the CONSTITUTION the same way the rest of the corrupt Union Leaders Interpret it , so the way it is written should not be taken literally. I have an Idea why don't you step out the lines for once and stop being told something and try to think on your own. See the problem is for so long members were told no and never questioned why. It's ok to dis agree , to have your own view although someone may not like it to bad. You should ask questions and demand answers they work for US ,lets not allow some corrupt Prick to tell you no or his view and settle for it do the research and understand that the Interpretation of the CBA's By-Laws and Constitution and not take their view and settle for it.

And by the way I accuse only when there is evidence to support my statements. and as far as the intent and purpose of the language it's in black in white there are rules they must follow, and we as the members should insist that they do, each time they violate a rule we loose a right if you want to give up your rights thats your choice, I choose not to sit and watch my rights be violated today it's the right to vote on a merger tomorrow it's my right elect my Union Official or my CBA. At what point do you stand up for whats right before it's to late?

As a member of a local thats been around for 75 years I have 28 years here and I have seen a lot of changes and what John Perry has done to our local while Hoffa and O'Brien watched is a disgrace members notified these guys and nothing was done. The IRB Took Perry out for a list of crimes crimes not only he committed and come mid January when the Indictemnts from the Grand Jury come out, we will see who's rambling. Hoffa and the rest of the Corrupt Union leaders that were bound by their duty as an Officer to take action but failed to do so will wish they did. Although we as members have the right to file a charge they have a DUTY To Investigate any allegations and file charges against ANY Member or Officer that has Violated the IBT Constitution, By-Laws and or CBA.

As a Trustee to a fund and in this case Sea O'Brien,Dave Laughton & Fat Gerald Goss are Trustees to the New England Teamsters Pension Fund they have a Fiduciary Duty to collect all monies owed due to any Violations. Well there is 25 CBA's in Local 82 that violate their CBA Daily and by doing so fail to make all contributions, and not only are the Trustees bound by their duty as an officer to enforce the CBA's they have a Fiducairy Duty to collect all monies owed, if not they are responsable to pay back all monies owed due to these violations so I would say these Good Ole boys should do one or two things get out the check books or pack a bag with soap on the rope because Pension fraud can get you in the can while getting time in the can. So Lets see what the New Year Brings ?

Joy and Happiness or un happy meetings with a lawyer explaining how its their constitution and the Intent and Purpose of the Languange is only the way they view it ..................

So I see member 82 that you have the same corrupt shiiit going on in your local that we do in ours, another Hofffaa local, and my,my, my what the simalarties are. We have leadrs that lie, cheat,and LIE to us the ones that pay every penny of their fing salary of 150k a year and what do we get in return???? No return phone calls , ummm hes in a meeting he will call u back, ya right and im gonna wait by the phone too right... The problem is tooo amny offical smany too many salaries all in the name of politics, hey can you buy some fundraiser tickets, what a joke why does a offical that makes 200k a year need my money which i work my ass off for and cant make ends meet???? We have a corrupt offical taking over in our local Tommmy boyy Flyyynnn, and we are stuck with him, until the IRB hears everything, which wont take long. We all need to wake up and understand whats going on, sounds like Obrieeen is just like Flllyyyn. Will the IRB do the right thing and we as mewmbers have justice??? We will wait and see and if they dont then maybe the DOL,department of justice will listen. Heres hopin for the truth!!!!

Well This is the deal, after a three year investigation The IRB removed Hoffa Appointed Trade Show Director John The Crook Perry, and Pat Shrugs Geary and the whole Eboard. The down fall is Hoffa appointed Denis Taylor who must have read the Perry Corruption Play book he left in the top draw. Hoffa also appointed Kevin Mc Dermott a 5 foot little studdering drunk to Trustees as our local was placed into trusteeship. These HOffa Puppets did nothing but put us deeper in to trouble . And what does Hoffa do appoints Penis Taylor to Perrys old job Trade Show Director.

Since these guys have showed up all they have done is LIE LIE oh and Steal. The signed CBAs that were less than our hourly rate and got rid of our Double time. So after the members here filed enough charges The ran out of town waving the white flag and yelling unlce.

So after getting rid of corrupt union leaders twice what does Hoffa do he tells us our local of 75 years is gone and our 12 million in our H/W Gone, our 380,000 in our general fund Gone. OH and you cant vote becuase on Dec 31, 2011 theres a meeting to let you know once again were going to punish you for uncovering corruption this time your locals gone Oh by the way it happens on January 1, 2012. Hey Corbitch, You are really going off the deep end, i heard from a little birdie that your dues in 82 were not paid up and that your membership from 82 was suspended and will have to pay a re- initation fee to join local 25 can you say $800.00, YOU WERE THE ONE WHO CAUSED US TO GO TO 25, it was not Perry's mistakes it was you and a bunch of TDU morons who thought that you would be able to take over 82 if you ran to the IRB and RAT out John for his mistakes instead of letting the int'l handle our own affairs, you and your father in-law want to be lawyer screwed EVERYONE so if you ask me i think the best thing that ever happened to us is that Sean allowed us into his GREAT and POWERFUL LOCAL.Thanks Sean looking foward to a better and brighter future in local 25.

I would say that corbet stood up to all the thugs while you were still feeding from perry and burhoes sacks and I was told he only had two years in.. And i would like to see him fight to the end and put a stop to the corruption. Although I never picked sides I was always amazed that a man with no seniority would risk his work to benifit all his brothers and sisters and expect nothing in return. There are so many back stabbers in this local that would rat you out to get an hour more even though they already worked two jobs that day, knowing that their fellow members didn't work at all.

At some point I would like to shake corbets hand and thank him for ridding our local from Perry and his thugs. knowing he hasn't worked for the same amount of time he's been in the local but sill fights for the rights of all members shows you what he's made of.

Hey Nutmunch, Not for nothing but, how are we suppose to maintain a local when we only have around only 400 dues paying members out of about 750 to 800 total members that math just does not add up, there is not enough money to pay any staff or officers to run the local so that is one reason we are better off in 25, so we should be thanking our General President and our Eastern Region V.P. for allowing us into such a great local union, would you have rather been merged into 122? I guess expecting the other 350 to 400 members to pay their dues is out of the question, and is that corbets problem they don't pay? I have an idea if the Trustees that hoffa put here, Penis Breath Taylor , MIke the Extortionist clark, and Kevin the Drunk -Runt-Midget- McDermott did their jobs such as collect dues , enforce the CBA, not sign Project Labor Agreements that was LESS than the negotiated rates then we may have had more income and more members working.

You mention how can we maintain a local with 400 members paying dues? Well Perry did it with less than the money we have now , not to mention that Perry used our funds like a personal ATM allowing family and friends to not pay dues. He reimbursed Cheif stewards for dues to not do their job , gave Pat Geary money to read the herald, Paid his drunk Skeloton Brother as an Organizer and Steward and the guy admitted he couldn't organize hi sox draw, We paid for more than our share of rent and paid The drunk brother again to open up for cleaner 82 paid for, We gave a gas card to anyone that had an SUV to fill up, we paid our Trustees more than the By-Laws called for, we paid our recording sec. $1500 more than she the By-Laws called for, We gave our Gerbal care taker and VP $1700 more than the By-Laws called for, We allowed companies to not pay H/W so Perry could get his family jobs less than the rate including no Benny's, We had a B Day Party that cost over a $100,000 dollars and sold tickets for $25 a ticket but have no money deposited from the party even though all the companies bought full tables for $5000 and more, we bought a truck that sit's over 25 and has for years, with all those things we survived for years, but all of a sudden now we can't even though we removed 90% of our expenses and have more income.

But I see what you meant about John Perry's few mistakes that were going on for years, and I know that even after 9 plus years of notifying Hoffa and Hoffa telling Perry in writing mutlple times to fix the problems of mis management of union dues such as stop using them like it's your money. I can see that HOffa was about to take action 9 years later Wasn't tha before Corbet was a member? If I recall perry said corbet joined in 06.

So although I dont know corbet personally I commend him in fighting and getting the job done alot more than I can say about a large group of members that went after perry for years and falling short of victory because they were bought out , afraid, or only looking to benifit themselves. One thing I saw with Corbet is he lost lots of work to fight for all of our rights and WON !!!!!!!!!!!! Perrys gone , Burhoes Gone, Bob Perry isn't threatenng members any more, The three Stoogers are no longer Chief stewards, shaking down companies , doing the hiring, and best of all working every sneaky show.

One thing we all have to remember is it was over 15 years of Perry being corrupt it's not going to ge fixed over night.
Denis Taylor came in here appointed by Hoffa to Fix the issues that put us here in the first place. Intsead Taylor worked right out of Perry 's corruption Play book he left in the draw allowing the same things that Perry was removed for to take place for these last 15 months even putting his own touch of corruption in the mix. We will see what becomes of Taylor for his failure to do his duty not only as an Officer but as a Trustee to the funds.

At the end of the day these Men everyone calls trouble makers, Extremist, TDU Magets, or as Sean O'brien referred them as today only 5% of the Members. Well if only 5% of the members of this local want Senoirity, CBA Enforcement, a union Leader to fight for his or her rights, uphold the IBT Constitution and By-Laws ,and have 100% of the integrity then it's a sad state of affairs and we need to rethink if we are a union or a SCAB OUTFIT.

I would like to say I am a TEAMSTER and DAMN Proud of it!!!!!!!!!! It doesn't matter the numbers after it say Teamsters Local it matters that UNITY, Trust, and Integrity is there and there is only one way for Sean O'Brein to get that from all of this membership, remember that allthough we as a Union must move forward what has happened to a Majority of the members in 82 has happened and if its not addressed in one way or another there is more chance of history repeating it's self. Putting our heads in the sand and acting like nothing ever happened is wrong, What Perry and his gang that couldn't shoot straight did to this local from the movers to the shows should be addressed, you talk about cleaning up our own house, well what do you do if your house is infested with Cock roaches EXTERMINATE!!!!!!

These Roaches have not only hurt 82 members , but the whole labor movement with their SCAB side deals to line their own pockets while other starved. Lets see what is done to move forward? You can't close your eyes to the past like it never happened .


I would like to point out to MASSHOLE, you should thank corbet because with out him standing up to Perry And Burhoe our local would still be in a Doulble wide trailer on D st with John Murphy getting free rent..........

So I would like to thank you personally Mr Corbet for getting rid of the most corrupt Union Leader that the IRB has ever seen.

I'm very happy with being in local 25 at this time and hope that we can all come together and finally support our new President Sean 'O Brien,Tom Mari and Steve South in dealing with issues that effect us all.
We are not going to like everything at first because of change but,ultimitly I feel they have our back and isn't that what we all have been waiting for? Representation is key here men and women. Our former 82 leader John Perry lacked helping members he should of helped as we all know and your not suppose to do that as we all know right?
The point is,trust is the issue here and I trust Teamsters 25 more then I trusted the former executive board of 82 hands down.
