What are the requirements for holiday pay.

Usually it's being passed probation and working the day before and day after... Your contract should have a breakdown of this as well.

In east new England the rule is if you work one day within the holiday week you will get paid for the holiday. Doesn't matter what days.

TimeBonus, you are correct. And depending on time of year, if you are on vacation you get the extra day (holiday pay) in your check.

Part timers need to have worked a full year before getting holiday pay. Just to add to the correct posts by the 251 brothers.

It depends on your region and Local. Your Steward or BA should be able to answer that no problem. If you have gained seniority, one thing no one mentioned is that you might be required to work the day before and after the holiday to get pay.

I believe you have to have 1 day with paid for hours. That encludes sick day, floater, OPD,any of these constitutes paid for time Contract does not state hours worked.
