Can someone do a specific break down of the benefits package for the Freight division versus the Package division? I'm trying to decide which division to go to in Louisville, Ky, and would also like to know if anyone here knows which of the larger hubs would be the one to go to for the best advancement opportunities (wanting to get into feeders if headed to Parcel). Would also like to know about how long it would take to get into feeders at one of those large hubs. Would it be of benefit to have the CDL beforehand or will UPS train? (someone on another forum said they would train a person to get a CDL). By the way, I also heard that with Freight you can walk right in fresh out of CDL school and get hired, so have been considering them, but heard the bennies weren't as good as Parcel. I'm 38 and don't want to wait ten years to get this done, but am willing to go about five if necessary. Either way I want to drive the rigs. Any help and/or advice would be greatly appreciated.
Help Please

If its based on health benefits, I'd go with package. But there is a major difference in harassment also. Be aware!!

Hembone is correct. If its sanity your after, freight! If it's pay, package. I've been in package for 17 years, you need thick skin to make it.
