Business Agent and Secretary Treasurer WATCH fellow Steward threaten to hit, name call, harass True Steward. (2nd time in front of B/A-President!) True Steward warned B/A (in writing) first time it happened, that if it continued, harassment charges would be filed.
When B/A told bully steward to STOP harassing and threatened to hit, President said that is "what she wants"! Yup..... tough female steward putting up with the good ole boys club that is covering up benefit and pay confiscation from members. Gave the Bully a second chance "because" he "was" a Union Brother -( Not so much)
File Police report (advised by Sandy Pope) and report harassment at work. Investigation findings are that my reports are frivolous and not true, and get walked out the door. B/A & S/T LIE! (Their mothers and family would be so proud!)
Odd thing is.... before I was fired, I filed Equal Rights complaint for harassment and discrimiantion against Union and Employer and ERD has failed to issue complaints. Returned and requested to re-write complaint. Going on a month now. Apparently one fly in the mix is easier to get rid of than making members whole for thier losses in benefits and wages. Fired for being a Union Steward and filing grivances. (numerous written warnings threatening termination for filing of grievances - done in professional manner but Employer refusing to address violations)
Now... B/A won't answer "Just Cause" and Employer won't answer "Just Cause" and decide to "waive" step 1 & 2 of grievance procedure (I got written up for not following grievance procedure ) and go straight to Fed. Mediation. (Wonder if friend with ERD?)
I demand ALL steps be followed so it is arbitrable, no such luck.
So.... where is that Trusteeship I asked for??? Would it do any good?
I believe Unions would flourish if the corruption harming members would STOP!
First NLRB altering my testimony and omitting evidence, Then ERD delaying filing... ERISA- EBSA refusing to investigate benefit loss.... Union Officials lying..... who is in the trenches???????

There are two ways to change people’s thinking. One is by persuasion, and the other is by force.
So.... which one are you? Possibly "force" as you tend to ridicule those with morals because you fall short in that area. Too bad, so sad.

I know what your going through. I was terminated with no write UPS just because member of management did not like the fact I called him on something that was federally illegal. Well after a month and arbitration I was given my job back due to the fact I kept detailed record of all incidents with this guy. He looked like a fool during this arbitration. I also had a great rep to fight for me. If I had not kept those records I would have had no leg to stand on. Good luck with this I feel for you.

Loader 1 - Thanks for the support. I have kept good records but sad thing is the Union Officials are in collusion with Employer against the members. Retirement benefits not contributed as required for 6 years and it continues to be the status quo. I was terminated, not allowed to read termination letter or speak, demanded to leave the premises and not given "just cause". Illegal termination for calling Company and Union on it. Unemployment Insurance denied since November for "alleged" misconduct". I'm the one harassed for exposing so accuse ME of the misconduct. Then Company changes reason for termination to "insubordination" for filing grievances when they told me repeatedly not to. Union BA threatens to sue me and advises employment will be hard to find in any local areas. Yup, blacklisted big time! 160+ Union Members retirement benefits don't matter to Company or Union. ( Can you smell ENRON?) Union won't allow arbitration.... that would expose too much. The influence and abuse of power is unbelievable! It is hard to believe so many people so willingly compromise their duty and ethics to protect the ones with true liability, and place themselves in a position to be accomplices to the criminal behavior. Reverse Robin Hood..... Rich stealing from the Poor. They should be so proud of themselves. If nothing is done, it will only get worse...... if that's possible..... the way things are going in the world today.

Ummmm, police report NOT found frivolous, ERD DID find probable cause, Fed. Mediator allowed BA to threaten with lawsuit and blacklisting. You weren't there Mr. S, I mean "in the game". The pattern here is the 6 year behavior of BA to rob employees of legally contracted benefits for his own personal power trip. Too bad BA doesn't uphold IBT Constitution or oath.
When those in authority sin against us, abuse their power, and lie, remembering Jesus before Herod, Pilate, and the Sanhedrin can comfort our souls.
