Once again 631 is a joke. Four Slates nominated. After eligability protests we have two complete Slate, One Slate without a Secretary Traesurer candidate or a trustee, and the fourth slate without a trustee candidate. Ballots were supposed to be mailed last Monday, Everyone is waiting to VOTE and this election is nowhere close to happening. WTF!

Their scrambling their asses off trying to save themselves. They all know their days are numbered. with only 42 days left and counting. I am surprised you have a BA none of the rest of us do. At least none of the current employees of Local 631 are not even close to being a BA. They are a total joke and wouldn't make a pimple on a BA's ass.

The new story out of the Nevada Test Site M&O negotiations is the company wants some $6.00 per hour in concessions but are willing to give consideration if M&O is willing to go construction. It is time the Members and the Local Union had the balls to stand up and say no. There is no reason to give them concessions and it would be absolutely absurd to go construction and give up seniority. Seniority is one of the standards of being a Teamster. Penis wouldn't give up his seniority at UPS why would he consider it for the Test Site Members?. If Penis has not got the BALLS to stand up to this employer then he needs to leave the negotiations on the table until the new administration takes over on January 1st. Why does he think NSTech is in such a hurry to get done? Oh its because they know they have a weak piece of **** to deal with now and they know January 1 brings a real problem for them.

In December of 2008 the Members of Local 631 voted for John Philipenis and his slate. Their entire campaign was nothing but lies, innuendos and untruths. They promised the Members stronger contracts. The truth nearly 3 years later. Every contract they have negotiated has gone backwards. They promised better health insurance. the truth is we have lost our dental, eye care, pay more for prescriptions, doctor visits cost more, hospital costs are up for the members. They have promised that I was going to be indited for who knows what. they claimed the prior administration stole money and God knows what else the list is to long for this forum. The truth there was no wrong doing by the prior administration. John Philipenis and Johnnie Gonzales have spent their entire term trying to dig something up on me instead of doing the job they were elected to do and have not been able to come up with anything. They are a fraud. I hope the Members have learned from their past experience and vote on the issues and don't pay attention to their smear campaigns. Our Locals future depends on this election.. Now there is a new Slate out there that has decided to use the same tactics as John Philipenis. That is the Toliver Armstrong Slate or the Phoenix Slate as they call themselves. Toliver Armsrong nor any part of his Slate has any experience running a Local Union. Toliver has not been a Steward, not been on a negotiating committee, never been in an arbitration. He is as unqualified as anyone could be. Toliver you posted more of the same bullshit that Philipenis has been spreading around and there is no fact to your site. You will answer for that is the very near future. The fact is I am not running for election so why are you attacking me and Burke we are both retired. Talk about the issues and your accomplishments. But you cant do that you nor John Philipenis have any accomplishments and neither one of you know the issues.One thing you and John Philipenis have in common is you are both from management and are both well schooled on tromping on Members rights.

I got my ballot and mailers too. Pride all the way! No mas penas. Reading no mas's mailer made me think Armstrong must of wrote it for him. I also got Armstrongs flyer at work today. What a joke!

I received the Phonics Slate mailer yesterday. The flier had more spelling errors then Nomaspenas's flier.

Where the hell is Hoffa? Local 631s election is a joke. Ballots mailed wrong no return postage on the envelopes. Then a protest is filed and Hoffa issues a directive to Philipenis and he ignores the directive. No Hoffa. Philipenis continues with not only his ROBO calls but having live bodies make calls to members with Local Union resources even after another protest is filed. Still no Hoffa. Well Hoffa you told Penis he had to have a fair election and that is not happening where the hell are you Penis is thumbing his nose at you and not a move on your part to enforce your directives. Your election is over when does this scum bag serve his suspension? Is there any justice for the Members at Local 631. You were sure ready to **** the last administration on no evidence. There is sure evidence here.

HOFFA you gave directives to John Philipenis over the trusteeship and again now over this election and he doesn't care he thinks you are a joke and that you cant tell him what to do. Joint council 42 suspended him for 30 days months ago and you put that on hold for your consideration of his appeal. enough is enough do your job we re-elected you to do seize this Local until December 31st and run this election so we the Members have a fair and honest election.

There is no doubt that if there is an honest and fair election Penis will be defeated. Only problem is there will not be an honest and fair election as long as Penis is allowed to use Local Union facilities and assets to contact Members and give them advice on how to vote. I have had no less than 4 phone calls from the hall in the last few days telling me to call the hall to get a ballot or to get my questions answered. This is bullshit if I need a ballot I am supposed to call American Arbitrators Association at their 800 number why aren't they telling the Members that. If there was ever a time the International needed to get involved in a Local Union election that time is now. John Philipenis is telling people he is going to get the election postponed until after the first of the year in order to give him time to straighten out the mess HE HAS CREATED. I certainly hope the IBT doesn't allow this to happen.

When Gen Pres. Hoffa decided not to trustee the Local, in his decision, didn't he state that we the members would determine our fate by conducting a fair and honest election? Didn't he also state that someone from the I.B.T would be sent in to "oversee" this election?
I for one have not seen or heard of anyone being sent in to assist the members.
From the time the first protest was filed, didn't anyone at the I.B.T. hear the alarm bells going off? There have been how many protests filed, and Philapenis is the center point of all.

For Clarification: does anyone still have a copy of the GP's letter to the members?

I for one hope it isn't too late!
I voted for Restore The Pride. and if I'm mailed a second ballot, I'm holding it to make sure my first ballot is counted properly.
