There were a lot of you that religiously worked this board trying to prevent the negativity from saturating it. Thousands of posts later, many entertaining and some times infuriating debates have passed all the meanwhile trying to hold up pride in our union and our leadership that was under attack.

I really appreciate the effort you all put in trying to prevent our union from looking bad. We didn't change everyones mind but we faught hard to prevent negativity and lies from making our union look weak.

Thanks brothers and sisters!!

You are quite welcome brother. I would say that I'm happy to help, but I'm really not. I'm not happy that our Union has to waste millions of dollars on an election whose outcome was detemined before the ballots went out. These people never had a chance and they knew it. They simply used the process to drain our treasury and publicly trash our great Union. It was despicable how these malcontents used the election process for no other reasons than to harm our Union and stroke their own egos. While I am delighted with the results, I'm not happy that all of this time, money and effort had to be wasted when it could have been focused on something much more useful. The Hoffa-Hall Slate handled this election with class and dignity, unlike their opposition. And despite all the bad press, misinformation and downright lies leveled against our Union from these employer sponsored dirtbags I have confidence that our great organizers will overcome it once again and continue to build on the Hoffa legacy.

It was particularly sweet that my local went for President Hoffa this election for the first time.

So much cocksucking on one thread! If you guys are done sucking each other's d.i.c.k.s, I'll just say the fact still stands that Hoffa tried bribery. Yes, it failed but he still attempted it, and it shows what type of person he really is.

And as far as I know he can't use union resources for campaign activity. So why do you say things like "the treasury was drained" when it was his money that was spent and not the Unions? A house built on a weak foundation won't stand for long, so let's see what we lose in the next contract.

Our house has stood for over 100 years. A great deal of that time under the leadership of the Hoffa family. The greatest labor story of recent history is when James P Hoffa saved our union by wresting it from grip of tdu and it's figure head ron carey. If there is weakness in our unions structure it comes from an alien infectious disease known as tdu. For nearly 20 years I have been working to eradicate this disease. It's almost done.

There is much to be thankful for this holiday season, having Jim Hoffa reelected is one of them.

I was glad to help out. I would have done more but there are just so many hours in a day. Take care and best wishes for the New Year.
