I have been getting the count updates from the Sandy Pope website, but for some unknown reason, they haven't posted new information today. My guess would be that about 4,000 more ballots came in today.

SOUNDS LIKE H HATER IS MORE INTO CATCH PHRASES THAN HE IS THE FACTS.
Here are the facts:
Barry AKA Obama promised labor last election; Opening up the north american trade agreement to make it more us labor freindly. NOTTA Instead he opened up the southern border to mexican truckers to take our jobs away.
#2 He promised labor card check.????????? Da! Still waiting on that. So I guess you can blame that on Hoffa. Dont think so, gotta start at the top baby.
Bottom line: He paid back everybody that helped him get elected "EXCEPT" the American Trucker!
Is Hoffa misguided in his political thinking. YES
Is Pope the answere. No! She has no slate and is devoted to dividing this union just as the TDU is by bringing in outsiders so they can get leverage.
Is Gegeare the answere, NO He was a pension trustee in the central states deal that he blames all on Hoffa
Democrats have traditionally taken down the Teamsters union since the 60's when Bobby Kennedy threw Daddy Hoffa in jail for 7 years. Which started the demise of the Teamsters Union.
Then Jimmy Carter came along and signed into law DEREGULATION which was the downfall off all good paying trucking jobs. I watched this happen as I went from job to job. Luckily back then there were other union jobs to go to, but now the end of track is in site.
Then Bill Clinton signed (Gat) which further stepped on american trucking jobs.
I just dont get where Teamsters think that the Dems are in there corner. The teachers, state workers, federal workers have all been repayed. NOT the TEAMSTERS!!!!!
We are the red headed step child as far as the Dems are concerned. I say we look for other alternatives to send our hard earned dues money to.
