Decade after decade, General President after General President we have watched as one freight outfit after another closed their doors and went out of business.

Finally we have a General President who through his courage and conviction actually saves one from going out.

Do you think he can get your vote for doing that? I think it would be the right thing to do.

THANK YOU Silent!!!! That is the most concise way of putting it. Hoffa did what he had to, and showed the balls to make a tough decision. The result? Thousands of Teamsters still working, in an economy where they would find it difficult to get another job. The alternative was to let them close their doors like like so many freight companies before. Mindless jerk*ffs like 107 here would have showed them though! He would have told them to shut their doors! Thats right, close up shop YRC! Local107 will give you the finger as you are pulling down the doors. THAT'LL teach them lol...moron

You guys are a regular joke. I would like to see the ballots from YRC counted separately so we can see how many of them share your feelings. From what I hear I'd even let you throw ABF's ballots into the mix.

Hey Soup, Nobody said that the members didn't help by voting to save their own jobs, but it was HOFFA that went to the banks to help YRC secure the loans to get the company the money needed to keep them afloat, So take your anti-HOFFA BULLSHIT someplace else, anyone with half a brain can see through your TDU BULLSHIT. Our freight members are smarter than you think! VOTE HOFFA/HALL 2011

Guess you haven't talked to any freight guys. Start with the pension screwing YRC got, then go to the concessions they tried to force feed ABF, then to the screwing the Chicago freight guys took taking their autonomy away just because they exercised their vote to say NO, then stop off and talk to the UPS Freight guys who are getting fucked every day. Then come back and tell me how much you know what the freight guys think. GEGARE SHEARD 2011

Ok I'll go directly to the pension screwing we all got in central states, LOSING 8 BILLION DOLLARS? CULPERT? TDU FRED!!!!!!!!!!!!! ENOUGH SAID. The YRC members voted to accept the pension kick back,And the ABF thing? They were going to sue the union if they did not get the same deal as YRC so they had no choice but to take it to a vote knowing that the ABF members were going to tell the company to go **** themselfs anyway.Last but not least the UPS FREIGHT thing they are 100% better off than having no union at all, not bad for a first contract.Oh i almost forgot the CHI town thing, Great leaders make tough decisions. Hope i answered all your questions.VOTE HOFFA/HALL 2011

Hoffa marched down Wall Street and single-handedly stopped Goldman Sachs from foreclosing on YRC? In a strange coincidence the man the Teamsters hired to oversee the turnaround at YRC retired from where? Goldman Sachs. Thanks Mr. Wilson and good luck on the new job Obama gave you at the Advisory Committee of the Pension Guaranty Corporation, witch is an independent federal agency responsible for insuring benefits under private defined benefit pension plans. So is that how we are going to get the government out of our pension plans....Hmmm?? so much to ponder.. Sack of Potatoes/Hot Air 2011

Hey what pension are you talking about pendejo? You call yourself a chingon but your actucally a pendejo. Did you forget YRC is no longer contributing to the Western Conference Pension Fund? Hoffa and Tyson Johnson agreed to kick you guys the **** out of it. You now get $1.75 contributed into your new 401K.

Your name should be ElMasPendjo63. Only a pendejo in freight would support Hoffa. Please let know how that 401K is going for you, PENDEJO.
Guys like yourself make the phrase "Dumb Truck Driver" so hard to dispute. First off take a comprehension class for yourself. I would like you to point out one place I said anything about supporting Hoffa, or who I support? Secondly if you worked for Yellow or Roadway you had money contributed into a joint pension program at one time, and if you didn't maybe you work for one of the hundred of company's that do. These pension programs have been overseen by the government so the Teamsters don't loan the money to the mob to build casinos anymore. This watch dog is something the union wants to end.
What I was talking about was the smoke and mirror show by the union. So many YRC idiots whould say the union (or the company) (99.9% had no idea who he was or who he was working for) hired the guy that turned around GM. He now was going to turn around YRC. They sheepishly thought Mr. Wilson worked for GM, they where all wrong. He worked on Obamas Auto Task Force, he thought up the plan for the government to buy GM stock instead of handing them a check. He also pressured the UAW to change pension obligations. Most morons said "he is a young guy" well yes he is, he is 38 and recently retired from Goldman Sachs, the same place that was holding all the cards on YRC, the place Hoffa said he bullied into having a change of heart.
So Mr. PostHoffa2011 before you go to your reading class tonight try playing connect the dots, I don't know what picture this all makes, but sure seems like it could make one. As for that 401k I have no idea I'm in a multi-employer trust fund. Whoever told you its 1.75 lied, its less then that.

MasChingon63, I somehow thought you wrote something different. I confused you with another guy. I agree with your post 100%. Hoffa has fucked everyone over. Keep up the good work.

PH2011, What a fuckin flip flopper. I guess Hoffa should of done nothing and let YRC and New Penn go the way of CF, Preston, APA, Spector, CJ PIE and so on and so on and so on, just like Gegare wanted him to do. Then he wouldn't have to worry about these members voting against him.
