Also Tony, your slate cast the first stone. Don’t try to revise history. Anyone who wants to look back on the short history of this thing can see that.
In his rant, Tony chose to throw the other delegates under the bus. Even one who supports his slate (Can we get some loyalty?!). It’s a sad thing Tony has turned on all the 89 delegates other than “Thorny”, most of whom are hard-working rank and file teamsters who are well deserving of the position. Is this his idea of “hourly workers united”?! If so, he certainly isn’t maintaining the trust necessary to run a successful campaign.
I will say however, if Tony is speaking the truth about returning the money to the hall and he was indeed at the convention all five days, I stand corrected and commend him for doing his job.
Again, not all the questions were answered. Further, in his anger he alluded to the fact he has indeed set up multiple profiles on this site to increase the volume of his slate’s message and to give the illusion there is more support than actually exists.
No answer on Jim’s workday. No answer on these guys helping anywhere beyond their areas at the UPS air hub (and even that is in question according to those in their areas). No answer on anything other than Tony.
But the most disturbing development over the past few days is this:
The slate links to Unionfacts.com on its facebook site. For anyone who doesn’t know what exactly unionfact.com/org (aka Center for Union Fact) is; it’s an anti-union, pro-Right-to-Work, corporate- funded organization ran by anti-labor lobbyist Rich Berman.
Here’s the Wikipedia link to UnionFacts:
http://en.wikipedia....for_Union_Facts
Here’s a little more about Berman:
http://bermanexposed.org/
I hope this was just an act of ignorance. Either way, it’s unacceptable for anyone aspiring to run a labor organization. It shows either an extreme lack of knowledge as to the enemies we face, or worse a hidden agenda which will destroy our local and labor unions across the state. We cannot have a president ignorant to the issues or the political climate of the state and country as it pertains to labor issues. We cannot have a president who does not believe in this movement and collaborates to dismantle one of the largest, most powerful unions in Kentucky, Indiana and the country. We face the threat of having a highly anti-union governor who will make Right-to-Work priority numero uno if elected. We need a president who can face those challenges and has the courage to fight until that battle is won.
Who do they support? Hoffa? Pope? Anyone who will donate? Or is it something more sinister? A group controlled by anti-union Washington lobbyists who wants to destroy our movements and our livelihoods?
Gotta roll. Have a good night everyone!

Stop trying to dupe the members. I know you feel yourself elevated above the membership, but this is simply not the case. The members are much smarter than you give them credit.
Stop supporting anti-union groups and perpetuating corporate disinformation.

As for the post, I will wait to hear a response from them to defend what was posted. I have seen they address the issues and even use their name. I haven't seen that from Nojim. Nojim stated they (hourly slate) spread anti-union, anti-labor. Isn't that extreme from what you have read and know?! Like I stated before I am familiar with guys from both sides and I haven't heard anything But PRO- Union from both sides. I am, however, waiting on a response about Vince spreading core membership and his stint as a steward plus his qualifications to fight for us!
Wish the majority was BIG UNION GUYS!!! I know I am but I will not be hasty in making a decision unless one side decides not to address issues and keeps slinging mud instead! Usually the Mud slinger has something to hide. Whether that be incompetent or avoid the issues because they are all talk and No action! So far I have heard nothing but talk and No action from one side. There has been enough No Action at work! I am tired of the Union bowing down to the company! I am tired of us losing the majority and saying our hands are tied. It has happened to much to me and my buddies! Good-luck and thanks for the concern!

I have answered questions that you have asked about me and see you have given me props for telling the truth but what about all of the BAs on here what have you done this great organization.
Where were you all during the convention meeting? The members need to know.
Why do you all think it ok to go lavish retirement partys in Evansville and spend the members money?
Why do you have to hire the guy that you voted out? Now you need him to win at the panel.
Why are Vs hands always tied? Can someone untie them please.
Why did you give V a job when he wanted everyone to go core membership? Talk about union busting.
Why do the BAs change contract language and not protect siniority?
Why do we only see the BAs at our locations at election time? Fred never comes out.
Why does Fred make 240,000.00?
Why are you all scared to go to the panels? Without taking grivances to palels managment can run ouer us.
Why do you franternize with management? Play golf, eat dinner, ride in cars around company property.
Why would you support a guy that lost 10billion in our penision fund in one year?
Why are we not up to date with technology?
Why are new stewards not trained properly? We are much stronger built from the ground up.
There's just to many things to list that are broke. How can you all fix them if you don't recognize or understand them?
Members try to tell you what is wrong and you never listen. You are only worried about a paycheck. You only acknowledge us during an election year then it only goes back to status quo until the next election.
Im sure you will hire another BA to make sure you get more votes because no one will vote for you.
Fred has had 12 years to fix these problems. You spent 6.5 million dollars last year, on what salaries.
Why would anyone want another 3 years of this mess?
