After months of speculation the decision is made. No not a trusteeship, no Penis and Weener are not being removed. The Stewards on the floor said we are getting two Penis sitters. That would be exactly one more then we have now. Way to protect the members IBT! Like Kermit said "that trip to Ohio really PAID off!" Now it would be nice if one of the Penis sitters would sit in on our contract negotiations. Im tired of being told we are striking JCK and we need to be ready. Only one week of negotiaions and a strike date has been set. I feel Empowered!

Its funny the letter from Hoffa doesn't address the charges brought by Hoffa. Nothing said about the racketeering in the convention industry by Whiner and company. Nothing done about the retaliation against Members and Abuse toward Members. Slap on the wrist and don't do it again. Not good enough. Wasn't this why Burke was removed because he knew and didn't do enough? I do agree with Brother Hoffa the Members need to decide who runs their Local but you cannot excuse what these people have done in the last two plus years. A violation of the bylaws and constitution is just that a violation and needs to be dealt with.

I finally got to read the decision today and you are right. So are they guilty or innocent of the charges? Are we to assume that they are guilty because we have overseers? All we have heard all week long from Terry Covington is how they are innocent and a second supervisor is only one more then we had before. I got news for you Terry, when you drive your scooter around the floor trying to do damage control you are actually causing more damage! 1.) When you blame everything on the prior administration people laugh at you behind your back when you drive away. 2.) You are actually stealing from the company because your not working you are campaigning. 3.) Blaming the IBT reps for the negotiations being fucked up is funny. Have they even been in the negotiations yet? 4.) Why cant you afford to buy your own car? You make more money then anyone on the floor.
Anyways this decision is a joke and a slap in the face of the members of 631.
