What a load of crap-Can't believe folks still buy into this nonsense

"We must rebuild radical socialist movements that demand that the resources of the state and the nation provide for the welfare of all citizens and the heavy hand of state power be employed to prohibit the plunder by the corporate power elite" "We must embrace, and embrace rapidly, a radical new ethic of simplicity and rigorous protection of our ecosystem—especially the climate"

We had this system--it failed--it produces no wealth--just reduces the living standard to the basic human needs while reducing any and all incentive to work and produce anything that people actually want---and because of the inability to innovate the inability to invest and incentive to improve--it is an environmental nightmare

but this statement perhaps tells you the complete lack of knowledge about humans and what they need to live--"They peddle the self-delusional dream of inevitable human progress. They assure us we will be saved by science, technology and rationality and that humanity is moving inexorably forward."

Farley the single greatest provider for human welfare has been man’s imagination.

My God man--Do you really think people want "radical socialist movements that demand that the resources of the state and the nation provide for the welfare of all citizens" They don't want to be provided for Farley--

If your looking for a new way--don't buy into the only system that failed everyone--Fix the system we have

Just remember the sentence that all socialist radicals have never been able to refute--When you implement “from each according to his ability, to each according to his need,” magically, everyone starts having quite a lot of need and very little ability.

The issue with your leftest friends Farley is while Socialism is great in theory--it doesn't work because of human nature--Under individualist and capitalist theory (and practice) each person is free to determine his own needs and, through the division of labor and voluntary exchange, to produce what's required to satisfy them.--Under socialist theory the individual's needs are determined and satisfied collectively. Dissent and venturing out on one's own are not options--

At least we don't have to play this ridiculous I am a "Social Democrat" game any more--glad to see you finally come out of the closet- :bustingupNEW3: You still have a lot of your far left brethren who continue to hide in the Democratic party because they want to be taken seriously--

Perhaps one day you will all abandon this fascination with a failed Socialist economic system and become relevant once again by sticking with your core ideology-- Egalitarianism
