You started this particular thread by posting material verbatim from another source without posting links to said source. And when something said something to the effect of, "I totally agree with Shaman on this one," you sat back, said nothing and accepted full credit for someone else's words. I challenged one of your political contentions on a different thread, posted source material, and all I got in response was a non-sequitur cartoon. So bugger off, Charlie. You're the last person to lecture anyone on posting source material. This is the most telling statement Charlie has ever made. He's not interested in discourse. He is set in his beliefs and is totally unwilling to accept any other perspective. People who think like Charlie are one of the reasons this country remains so deeply divided. You know what, your involvement in lawsuits explains nothing about why you respond to statements about Obama with mean-spirited attacks on everyone who doesn't share your warped political views. Real shaman don't foam at the mouth with fallacy arguments every time someone wants to criticize Obama. And just because someone criticizes Obama, it doesn't mean they're a Republican. Who taught you to draw conclusion like that, your Guru? I'm just a regular joe who got sick and tired of watching a child bump a thread that contained information potentially harmful to another Teamster brother. Bovine excrement. I'd say 98% of TNET members are anonymous. Get over yourself. The cartoons are a substitute for substance. I've seen you directly challenge other people on other threads, which proves that if you think you can shoot someone's argument down you'll at least try with your own brain and won't use cartoons. Where I'm concerned, your cartoons are a white flag of surrender.

Keep running like a deer, coward.

A coward in incapable of exhibiting love; it is the prerogative of the brave. – Mahatma Gandhi

Courage and conviction are powerful weapons against an enemy who depends only on fists or guns. Animals know when you are afraid; a coward knows when you are not. --David Seabury

Of all the animosities which have existed among mankind, those which are caused by difference of sentiment in religion appear to be the most inveterate and distressing, and ought most to be deprecated. I was in hopes that the enlightened and liberal policy which has marked the present age would at least have reconciled Christians of every denomination, so far that we should never again see their religious disputes carried to such a pitch as to endanger the peace of society. --George Washington (letter to Sir Edward Newenham, Oct. 20, 1792)

Every opportunity they get, Republican Senators try to insert anti-Union provisions into a bill under consideration in the U.S. Senate.

As I'm watching them on C-SPAN2 today, I saw that kooky Rand Paul tried to insert a severely anti-Union amendment into the Postal Service bill. Paul's amendment would strip the Postal Service employees of the right to collective bargaining. That amendment was so severe that even many of the other Republicans voted against it. So that amendment failed by what I think was a 73 to 26 margin.

Now, as I type this, I see Labor's #1 enemy Jim DeMint proposing a so-called "Paycheck Protection" amendment. Wow. These guys are unbelievable. The votes are close to being totaled on Paycheck Deception amendment, now.... The amendment failed 53 against to 46 in favor.

Let's vote out the Republican Senators who are up for election in November.

The Right-Wing Nutjob Quote-O-Matic

Stupid Quotes by Right-Wing Nutjobs and Crazy Conservatives

''I'm ashamed of what happened in the White House yesterday. I think it is a tragedy in the first proportion that a private corporation can be subjected to what I would characterize as a shakedown -- in this case a $20 billion shakedown ... I'm only speaking for myself. I'm not speaking for anyone else, but I apologize. I do not want to live in a county where anytime a citizen or a corporation does something that is legitimately wrong, [it is] subject to some sort of political pressure that, again, in my words, amounts to a shakedown.''

—Rep. Joe Barton (R-Tex.) during a congressional hearing with BP CEO Tony Hayward, referring to a $20 billion fund for damages that President Obama pressured BP to set up to pay for the Gulf oil spill. Barton, the biggest recipient of oil and gas industry campaign contributions in the House of Representatives, was later forced by Republican leaders to apologize for his BP apology
