Last night was a predictable downsized meeting as the weather was a scorching 109 at 5:00 p.m. Our members and supporters knew full well that the cheap bastard Lucy wasn't (and he didn't) going to provide us with air conditioning in the tiajuana building he put us in--its just pathetic!!!
Any way we accomplished our objective last night as we only needed to nominate one more delegate to our slate (which we did, Raul Medera, who is a solid, honest, hard working rank and file member) that is now complete and in motion to take out Lucy and family and TAKE BACK OUR LOCAL!!! Right after the meeting the Election Officer went over the rules with us, and in part was explaining how were cannot take home any phone numbers from seniority rosters that we have at the hall.
Ashley bursted out by saying "well thats interesting, three years ago he provided select shop stewards, officers, and agents all of this type of material and directed us to call everyone and tell them to vote for him!!!!! Of course he denied this patently in fromt of the Election Officer, but we have stewards that will step up and testify if and when needed.
Oh well, we suppose these charges will take on a life of thier own...our focus is to turn out the vote and win the election. By us doing this, it will make us all better off.
Hey just a quick shout out to our sister Local 439, thanks for the invite to your Labor Day Picnic, we will be there, Lucy would not have let us know about this cuz he dont want our members to see what other Locals do for thier members...sad but true.
And last, whoever posted the sexual harrassment stuff, please refrain for now, we understand that it's public record and all, but it caught a few of us by surprise and our focus is going to be on this election, thanks for your support, we know you meant well. NO MAS LUCIO...SI SE PUEDE!!!!

Lucio has always had a reputation of harrassing women, and his former secretaries are working at other locals because they couldn't put up with it. Besides his whore mongering (for his father of course) he has been someone who has tried to abuse every woman that has ever been around him. That aside, his stealing from the membership is his worst crime. Hopefully, he will be dealt with, but everyone is wondering why the IBT hasn't come down on him yet. It doesn't make sense.

Well spoken my brother. As I see it there are several courses of actions going on simutaneously. What I simply meant was that the focus should be to end this bastards career, but unfortunately for us, I'm not sure everyone's immediate focus is the same. I do however feel that everyone wants this result. It will take a team effort to accomplish this goal for the immediate election (delegate election) and for sure, if this no good bastard is still around in December, it will take a TEAM effort to rid him that way as well.
A TEAM shares the same goals, visions, and objectives, and moves forward in the same direction. A good TEAM is comprised of many committed men and women that have unselfish minds, and have leader(s) that have the courage to lead through tough battles and issues, that can identify weaknesses and strengths of both sides. But more importantly, the leader(s) of the TEAM have got to be able to deal with the many personalities and issues that are brought to the table through the tuff times. Dealing with the sexual harrassment lawsuit will take on a life of its own, and most likely will take several months if not years...unfortunately. As a TEAM our immediate objective should be as I stated above, I hope our TEAM is strong enough to carry out and successfully accomplish what we began just a few short months ago.

As a Good Teamster (Union) leader, the obvious goal is to improve members and families well being in negotiations, if a strike is necessary hopefully preparations have been examined,set in place and agreed upon with other locals and the International prior to the strike, a good leader looks for ways to win the strike and plans for ways to get their members Back To Work, isolation is not a good thing, A agreed upon team PLAN has a tremendous advantage to achieve the goals we desire, I keep the Washington Teamster members of Coca Cola in my prayers..............
