Let's talk math for a minute here, 12 million a year we as teamsters pay for government protection from la costra Nostra and nepotism .
Nepotism seems to be a expensive problem in this thing we call the teamsters, so much that there was a whole government investigation on who worked and who gets work from the local.
Let me ask a general question here , if your father was a truck driver and his father was a truck driver , it's more than likely your going to be a truck driver as well.
Rocket science? no!! It's a cycle , that's been going on for years .

If you have been reading the reports on the pension were at about 38 percent , that's in the red .
Not a good number , 38% sounds pretty scary especially if your on your way out in the next ten years and looking to live off the money you paid out all these years. My question is this ?
Why are we the only union in the united states still under a government trusteeship ?
We elect a president that gets paid god knows how much while he has strings pulled by some government leeches!
Why doesn't Hoffa make a move to get these people out of our business and use that 12 million for our soon to be retirees , that peddled all them years.
Not these union busting crumbs that think the teamsters are just a bunch of gangsters and thugs!

The last mafia don died in a federal prison over 5 years ago, there is no more gangsters in this business , the only gangsters we have are called business agents .
That's why they all drive cadillacs on our dime!!
If Hoffa really cared about this local he'd use his political contacts to get rid of this 12 million dollar debt that we pay each year , but he's not concerned about our members he's only concerned about the members that are a threat to him, that's why he keeps these people in our business .
