Not that it matters anymore the Affiliates Pension Fund covered officers and agents employed by the affiliates of the International (Locals, Joint Councils, ETC) Carey stopped the payments and participation in the fund years ago' It was funded by payments by the Locals ETC for their employees. To my knowledge it all stopped like in 94 or 95. You had to vest is the plan just like any other pension plan. It really wasn't very much money when you retired but it was something. But is something for everybody to bitch about it makes disgruntled members happy to beat on something. I never worried about what my reps made as long as they did their job. When you look at what our reps make compared to what the CEOs that they deal with there is a very large spread and we all wonder why our representation sucks at times. You get what you pay for if you want shit buy a Hugo if you want quality pay the price and buy a Cadillac. I hope this helps answer your question.

The TAPP and Family Plan were chaired by Tom Keegel from 1999 until he resigned in 2009. At Mr. Keegel's recommendation the General Executive Board appointed Brad Slawson to serve as Chairman of both plans. Fred Gegare and John Murphy have been trustees on the plans since 1999. If you have any questions about how these plans work or their financial condition I recommend that you call Chairman Slawson at local 120 in Minneapolis.

Sounds like more TDU bullshit. I know a lot of reps that have retired and don't know of any millionaires.
