The heat index was over 100 f, last week, the same, or hotter, expected this week!

eggy did you help Senator Inhoff build his igloo last winter during a "cold spell" that totally discredited "climate change"? did you know that now that we are in the warmest year in recorded history, in the warmest decade in history, Inhoff is saying that you cannot tell anything from a heat spell and that we are in a cooling trend? Did you hear about the increased methane in our atmosphere from warming oceans that are releasing methane because it can ONLY be released at higher water temperatures? Did you hear about the methane that is being released by the permafrost, because it is no longer permanent or frost? Remember in your history book how European explorers were looking for the non-existant "NorthWest Passage? Well it is there now because of polar melt as a result of Global Warming and climate change. but most of all eggy, don't allow these inconvenient facts disturb your partisan rhetoric.....by the way did I mention that you might love Somalia?

ya right--global warming --is now climate change so folks like you can give weather reports and tweedledee thinks Tweedledum was smart

Rational humans can buy into pollution is bad--therefore we should cut down on emissions--but it is irrational to think man is causing temperature change--or climate change-Climate is controlled by the oceans, not the atmosphere. The oceans have 1,000 times more heat capacity than the atmosphere. It means oceans can heat the air far more than air can heat the oceans. And it means carbon dioxide is not heating the oceans. Solar and geothermal energy heat the oceans-Oceans overwhelm all other influences on climate. Oceans, being 70% of the earth's surface, are the climate regulators influencing air temperature, humidity and precipitation--That is rational thought Haz--Irrational thought is global warming is causing the temperature to rise thus heating the Ocean causing more co2 and methane--The air does not heat the oceans; the oceans heat the air; because the oceans have a thousand times as much heat capacity as the atmosphere.

Fakes have been claiming that the minuscule 0.6°C (claimed) temperature increase is causing more water vapor to enter the air and creating extreme weather. Wrong. Air is almost never saturated, which means availability of water determines humidity, not air temperature

as for all those pollutants--95% are caused by nature--not man--and absorption of radiation by so-called greenhouse gasses only moves energy around; it does not increase the total energy on the planet-If heat were being trapped, the air would not cool so fast at night. It cools by radiation going around the greenhouse gasses, not through them—and as easily during the day as at night

rational thought Haz

as for the whole global warming which had to be changed to climate change

There is no hockey stick anymore Haz--it was a fabrication--Michael Mann is the man behind "Hide the Decline" it was a total fabrication

and Phil Jones the perpetuater of the fraud on the world said There has been no global warming since 1995 and Warming periods have happened before - but NOT due to man-made changes--and during four of the seven decades since 1940 when average CO2 levels steadily increased, U.S. average temperatures were actually decreasing

Climategate files show what had already been established by critics: The temperature increase is fake. Satellite measurements show very little temperature increase (due to warming oceans, not CO2), but the satellite data was adjusted to fit the fake thermometer data

Guess what is happening Haz--Ice ages cycle begin at precise 100 thousand year intervals. The next one is scheduled to begin now. The temperature reversal will begin between 100 and 200 years from now. The time can be determined from the amount of precipitation. And scientist will tell you warming occurs before every ice age cycle

So Haz I'm sorry- I can't buy into man is causing climate change--it isn't rational

eggy, I guess you just ignored the part about the oceans releasing methane because they have WARMED and can no longer contain it. I guess you missed the part about polar ice disappearing and leaving a smaller area to reflect sun light and that open water absorbs heat instead of reflecting it like ice does. I guess you just do not understand the dominos of climate and man's part in it. I hope we have a cool winter, then you and Inhoff can build another igloo and keep your heads in the sand.
ps. They have a shit load of sand in Somalia where you can bury your head as the planet warms and shakes off her fleas, namely mankind.

and Farley you must have missed the part ice melts over the Arctic about once a century or more. A miniscule temperature increase in the atmosphere has no ability to melt Arctic ice; only warm ocean currents melt Arctic ice--warm ocean currents farley and Oceans overwhelm all other influences on climate. The air does not heat the oceans Farley

as for methane you knucklehead--its wetlands that produce the vast majority of methane--and the scientist can't agree to the increase--some say permafrost some say oceans both most say it continues to be the wetlands--and it was recently learned that 40,000 years ago--that increase in methane during that period was caused by--drumroll please--wetlands

--I say it is irrelevant--see above about trapping heat

dockman...the year 2012, should be one, to make, or break, civilization, as we know it! With heat index here today, might be up to 115 f. !

eggy docky, and jimbo. there was a traveling Longshoreman and philosopher named Eric Hoffer. He traveled the coasts and had editorials printed in news papers before the news industry went entirely right wing and dumped labor reporting in favor of the "DOW".............when he went to a new town the very first thing he did was to get a library card.........something that is still available to the "wholey ignorant trinity" of eggy, jimbo, and docky. I do realize you might be loathe to do this , since you might be exposed to concepts that make you actually think about "what the reichwing talking points tell you is fact"...........but again the public library is a socialist organization and you might not want to be seen there or you will be called twinkle toes commies.

My gosh farley get in the 21st century--no body goes to the library any more to get information--(even Marxists)

No wonder your so confused--by the time you have gone to the library and checked out your outdated resources 20 million new references have been published rehashed and redistributed for the whole world to see--and another 40,000 books have been downloaded to Kindle and I Pad

Your reading stuff about that happened ten to 20 years ago while everyone else is reading about what happens tomorrow

Maybe that's why you haven't heard--global warming proof was manipulated and fabricated--which is why we are now debating climate change  and your buddy haz is giving us weather reports and talking about the Inca's premonition of doom

and Farley--you don't want to survive if the Inca are right because only Rich people and Corporatists will survive the destruction

If they had two of those circular stone calenders and placed an axle between them, they could have been said to have "invented and made use of the wheel", like other primitive peoples,...... but they didn't even make it that far.

They sound like liberals to me. No doubt, if Obama had been around at that time, they would have made him their Messiah.

No thanks! I will keep my freedom, my rights, and my money. You can keep the CHANGE!

Weatherman 911, has a major storm, coming ashore between Jacksonville, and Daytona ( east coast of Fl) , then crossing the state, exiting into the Gulf of Mexico, tracking head on to NO!
