Finally, a new story yesterday, on the Saint Augustine Record (by Justine Griffen) Well, it seem the two, St. John's County detectives, returned form Oregon, tails between their legs!

Oh really? So they finally figured out going there a month later would result in no leads,didn't take a rocket scientist to figure that out. Sorry Haz, I was hopeful they might find some leads even though a month later!? I'll have to read at article, just going off what you informed me here. Two, dead, women have been forund in SC, a month after, my friend was last seen in St. Augutine. Interesting, is near where Ms Tavar's dogs were found. Someone form web sleuths, contacting me, after reading this T-net post!

Haz, I read that article too and saw those sketches of the burnt woman found compared to Brittany missing photo picture.

Burt woman found they said is aprox 5'8, 140lbs, Hazel eyes, reddish blond hair.
Brittany missing photo or description is 5'7, 120lbs, brown eyes, and blond hair.

It would be something to look into as even as you may be thinking the eye color is off or wrong that is not necessary a factor in a decomposed/Brunt body. Because of the pigment in an eye can change from Brown to Hazel. The Iris can lose color if the pigment degrades. The amount of pigment in an eye is really a balance of the amount being made and the amount being destroyed. The more pigment in an eye, the darker it is such as brown eyes, and little pigment causes blue eyes. People with albinism have red eyes because their body makes no pigment. The red comes from blood vessels at the back of the eye. Furthermore, a change happens fairly frequently to the pigment protein under the control of the OCA2 gene--when the protein changes,(Bad health, disease, exposed light,death,etc) it's function changes.--It makes a different pigment color from brown for example to green-Hazel.

I'm not saying the woman is right on this, but those sketches do look similar to Brittany photo some. A simple DNA of hair sample should tell the family or investigators whether that is Brittany or not.

Thank you coastal. I read on the Record today, another, beautiful, woman (35) has been gone missing from; St. Johns County! (for two weeks)!

I don't know what's happening in the world anymore, I don't think some people are raising their children right, as they turn out to be rapists and murderers, juvenille deliquents as adults,etc. Too many women and children go missing?-these days.

Hope they get some leads to where Brittany Tavar whereabouts are?! Including, all missing women and children too!

Breaking news on the Saint Augustine Record! But, actually nothing..after two months, the police, checked Brittany's home for blood samples. Yes!, blood!, but ,no DNA profiles.

Thanks for the interest aniika. No, nothing new, think the local police, are not up to the task. Someone posted on the St. Augustine Record, that sounds like he knows, Joseph Dean Roberts, calls him; " Jason "? If you go to the Record, type in Brittany Tavar. The Record was, or hopefully, still is, her hometown, news paper. Not hard to register, some interesting comments, regarding the articles about the case. Thanks again, HAZ
