Brittany is 45, last seen in the company of a 26 year old male, named Joe, who is now heading west, driving a dark blue, Toyota SUV. The driver was pulled, in Wyoming (speeding), and let go, with a warning. Police in Wyoming, must not ask for vehilcle, registration?
Obviously now, in a western state, minus, my former, girl friend, Brittany. We met, when she was 23, many years ago. Our last conversation, (late eighties), " I'm going to California to be an actress." Please, prayers for Brittany, and her obviously, very, upset family.

Joe Roberts, 26, the person stopped in Wyoming, was filmed at a Wal Mart in Oregon. There is a $24,000 bounty! Heads up, Western Teamsters! Thank you, from family and friends of Brittany....the creep is still driving her car! Wyoming police, majorly screwed up, not asking Roberts to produce a vehicle registration! :lmao:

Haz,

Sorry to hear that. Is she from FL as you are? I take it the family contacted you, as you once dated her in case you were in contact with her. Since you have not talked to her since 80's a lot has changed in a young woman's ideals of wanting to move to CA to become an actress in which she never made it apparently in younger years.

Find out from her family, where she worked, whom were her co-workers, her female/male friends,(even long distance friends) where she hung out, bars, other, places she liked to go,etc. Is she close with her family or not, etc. Was she into drugs, other, as maybe a lot has changed since you knew her last. Find out what year vehicle, what color roof, type of tires, rims if any, vin number, dark windows or not on suv, any noticeable scratches/dents on vehicle, bumper stickers, anything that would stand out. Find out where in Wyoming this Joe got pulled over, where in Oregon last seen. As the route he took, is important to maybe find her/him even if not together. Did she have a cell with her at the time she went missing? Credit cards, atm, etc. He had to buy gasoline along the way. And how long has it been since she went missing? Was it a planned trip, or did she just disaper one day/night? What was her normal daily routine? Find out all of these things and then send me t-net private message to coastal.

I'm not in CA right now, but I have a team of PI's that I worked with and we specialized in missing persons. One PI in CA owes me a favor, as I loaned him over 20grand many yrs back. Because the loan I gave him was for an emergency Kidney transplant, as he was my surveillance partner back then, I never asked him to repay the loan. But he's good at what he does,(missing persons) and I can call in a favor owed. We rescued a kidnapped child case-together and in which is harder to find than an adult missing person case.

When and if I do hear from you, I'll then ask more questions and then get in contact with my sources.

If this Joe was at all smart he would have dumped the vehicle already, so lets hope he is still stupid. If we find him, we then find her.

Coastal.

The number of women and children that go "missing" in this country is absolutely astonishing!

GUYS.....We may not agree on a lot of political issues, however, I urge ALL you guys here on T-Net to take serious action and get with your local police departments and see if they have safety classes for your wives ad daughters! I did this years ago after a female in our family (working at the mall) was being stalked by a total stranger! The police got the guy but really couldn't do much about it. The men folk in our family got together and found a police department in another town that had such a class. In my case I took it a step farther and bought my wife and daughter guns, at first they resisted (the afraid of guns thing) but after they got comfortable they began to take an intrest in target shooting, gun safety, and self defense.

I still say if you arm women you'll never have to worry about losing your gun rights!!

Thanks costal and stark, when I took the required, course for a concealed weapon permit, there were as many women, as men in the class, I'm glad to say, even one guy, wheelchair bound! Brittany is a special, young lady, but perhaps a little to trusting? :lmao:

If Joe Roberts, harmed Ms Tavar, I'd like to sight in my Mosin, 7.62 rifle, using his face, as a target!

Local police, believe Roberts is heading for Ocean Shores Washington. He has been charged with grand theft auto. Brittany's brother, is offering a $25,000.00 reward for information, leading to the arrest of Joe Roberts. I'm offering; to use him for target practice!

Thanks again coastal, Brittany was last seen, filling up her Toyota, Rav 4 (dark blue) July 6th. Cops say, Roberts went to Washington, think Oregon, a much better place to hide! (have been to both states)

ps; This is being widely read, try google search; BRITTANY TAVAR

Missing since July 6th, that's not good. Keep faith, and I'll google as I didn't know she had been missing that long. I'll get back to you after I read the details on google, etc. Hang in there, under the circumstances.

Haz,

Thanks for the heads up on this is being widely read, I'll watch what I do say, as I tend to talk freely to teamster brothers/sisters, on here, and including, I don't want to say anything of my thoughts, that might interfere with an ongoing investigation to find this man. Even though it is public knowledge state wide in case this Joe is viewing internet. We don't want to tip him off.

If I didn't have work things to focus on here, I'd volunteer (take a couple weeks or longer) to go look for him (not for reward) but because I do know those camping/wooded areas very well in those western states, including mid-western states.

Try and get some rest Haz.

Thank you coastal, I know them as well...was thinking, the same as you. When I heard Roberts was stopped in Wyoming, thought, probably I-80 west. A good article, by Justine Griffen, writer for the Saint Augstine Record. I logged on there, and left a couple of comments...FYI

Haz, Your welcome. I also believe he took 80West as in the time frame he got to WY and also if you have ever driven through the US,(non stop) whether a trucker and/or vacation destination back and forth,(west/east coast) in the time he made it to WY,(from the area he left) he had to take the 80W. Highly doubtful he took 70 or 40 and cut up thru other states toward WY it would have taken him longer to arrive there. I think he took the route he knew best. Besides 70 and 40 are more open (nothing to see) trucking routes and route 80 more places for him to hide when driving.

I went off my own non stop US driving experiences, including my road atlas, and I have driven from Maine toward Tennessee to Flagstaff, AZ non stop (different routes) and in a similar vehicle like he is driving and it took me 2 1/2 days to arrive in CA, after resting in flagstaff a few hours. However, I've driven from CA to middle of TX or Tulsa, OK under 23 hours drive time non stop many times. So I also believe he took route 80 from his start in NC or nearby states. With a loaded down moving truck and/or hauling horses for example, going from east to west, or west to east coast, it takes almost a week duration drive time. So he (Joe) can move pretty quickly in the vehicle he is driving.

I also know that terrain as you do, as I'm a big game hunter, and endurance camping through the many years durations.

I'm not on Face book. I have work reasons why I am not on there. Do you have IM?/private email. Don't list it here, let me think of a mutual teamster(we might both know) to provide our contact information.

Thanks again coastal, how about my friend Farley? Have you checked out; the Saint Augustine Record? Just type in Brittany Tavar...havn't been there today, nothing about Brittany, on our local, news last night? The first time in a week! My wife and I, made a five week tour of the country in the early ninties. I also took a load of building, materials to an Indian group, who built houses for the poor, (most everyone). The drive was from near Asheville NC, to the middle of SD, (Eagle Butte), I-90 W, then north on SR 68. Non stop, 22 hours! Tom Curtin, (DRIVE) plus an IAM leader, help sponsor the trip.

Haz,

Yesterday (Sunday) as I was reading your t-net message, we then had a sudden storm, thunder, lighting, and all of my power, lights, internet communications down since then. Should be up later today(Monday) hopefully? I'm using a public computer right now. Took a picutre of a tree that got hit by lighting just a few feet from my SUV. I got lucky it wasn't my vehicle other trees fell on,etc. Anyways, I'll reply to you later on, when services come back up again.

p.s. Farely, should be fine. I don't know him personally( I dont' think) as everyone uses t-net names, but as long as he keeps my contact info secure thats fine with me. I'll be back in touch as soon as my communications back up again.

Coastal.

Thank you coastal. All, media sources, have become silent, about Brittany's disappearance, looks like, they'd want to keep the attention up, until she is found. Ms Tavar's brother, and sister, must be feeling very, discourages, am sad to say. I'm think of taking a camping trip, west! Glad the lightning strike was a tree!

ps; Joe Roberts is; 6'1, 170 lbs, skinny, baby faced, looking punk! FYI

That's good that other locals helped sponsor the trip of you taking building materials back then. Back when during the Rodney King Riot's happened one of my truck drivers was pulled out of his truck, beaten, in the middle of all of that, Reginald Denny, and our local started up a fund for him and we got the support of all the locals throughout including IBT then as well. If this Tavar woman was a union member, then I would try and ask for support from labor unions to help out.

Just have farley if it's all right with him, provide his contact information to me in t-net private message, and I'll then get in touch with you by e-mail.

I looked the other day before my power went out and I did not find anything current, not even an alert in Washington? In where they thought he might be headed. Keep in mind I was doing several quick searches then. That is to answer your other blog post day before yesterday.

Today, my power finally came back on. It was actually tornado we had here, I had just thought it was a summer storm. 3 Trees got hit by lighting walking distance from where I reside, I only thought it was one tree then. Several trees in the county fell on power lines and many still without power still or without communications. This tornado not as bad as tornado's I've seen in OK, but still it did slight damage apparently. One person died, but everyone else is all right.

In regards to TAVAR,.. I'm not sure why media has gone quiet? I can only go off my own Investigation experiences in past. Meaning, when we were searching for a 3yr old boy that was kidnapped, we did not inform anyone(not media) that a child had been kidnapped, until after the rescue of the 3yr old. But that situation was different, as with Roberts, they already know who he is, what he looks like, where he was last or probably headed and therefore public alerts should be out! In the child kidnapping case, we didn't know then whom took the child and we didn't want to alert anyone either then. But like I had said, in regards to Roberts, Tavar, this is much different situation.

The trail is getting cold now, and that is not good. But I still feel I could find him depending on certain circumstances, (last leads)in which I'll say more in private email to you. I was thinking as you were a few days ago, in that take a trip west! I'd have to make sure my rent/bills are paid here ahead of time before I do go and take time off, as once west, I'll keep looking up to a month duration. If your serious about going and looking for this Roberts, let me know. You and I are not that far away from one another (few US states)could meet up, and I do have all the endurance camp gear for us, and we could drive west and/or fly whichever and/or get rental vehicle once there.

I've been to every US state except FL, more than 15 times, not only business, but also camping. I've been in every US state national park, and have endurance camping in all the CA, OR,WA,ID, UT, WY, CO states,etc.-in the off hidden areas of all camp areas. If your in good physical shape to drive and look and hike and camp while searching, then two is better than one looking for him.

I called one of my CA friends and he will go to Yosemite National Park and surrounding areas in two weeks in case he starts to head that direction and keep an look out for him. Meanwhile, I think I know why the trail has went cold somewhat. I'll tell you my comments on private email.
