talk of the town is that Hoffa has competiton for next yaers election coming from the centla region. One can only hope so it would be funny to watch some the very peopel that Hoffa, Deaner and Thompson have scerwed over get together and run against him. Maybe they could hire RL Communictaions too. Interesting to hear and watch it play out.

Your post on "Hoffa's Competition" is very telling in its own intentionally "Dyslexic spelling way". You can stop the sham spelling, your words are SHAM enough.

The fact that YOU too are even embarrassed to mouth the name of this "competition" speaks to your own belief in the non-validity of this candidate as a
competitor for the GP spot.

With the 3 B's (Bluster, Bully, and BS) as YOUR 'candidates" only attributes, I am sure that he will received the support (lack of) that is deserved. But, I guess you could look
at it this way, with your candidate driving the members pensions into the "fear zone", could he really screw other stuff up as badly?? I bet he could!!

Could you be Sandy? Could his 3 B's about you be a smokescreen telling of how he really feels?

It is pretty telling that Barking Dog's only "friend" on this site is Sherri Henry.

Only an anti-union bitch would think it was funny to watch Teamsters fighting with one another and disunity among brothers and sisters.

I wonder how Dottie Malinski feels about all this. She hates Hoffa, but Gegare and Slawson weren't exactly her favorite people. Gegare used to call her Mrs. Marty Feldman and Slawson took over her local when she was run out of there. C'mon Dottie, inquiring minds want to know.

Jeez, you know Vegas IS a funny town. Word around the bar was that Sandy Pope is involved. Something about 'ole Mattress Back having a boyfriend in 120...if thats the case I would be very dissappointed in the "competition". Besides being a TDU piece of shit...didn't she already have a squeeze in 707? Hmmm, politics makes strange bedfellows. I can only hope that the "competition" would not lower themselves to the point of reaching out to TDU for help. That would be a clear sign of desperation. Kind of like the last act of drowning men.

Thank God for Fred Gegare, Brad Slawson and Fred Zuckerman. These are the 3 greatest Teamsters I know. Brad is the top negotiator in the union, Gegare has singlehandly saved central states and Zuckerman is responsible for saving all the carhaul jobs.

I hope these tried and true Teamsters run a slate so I can support them and we can get some REAL Teamsters back in charge. I am sick of phonies like Cammack, Flynn, Rome and the rest of the no balls bunch. Enough is enough. Zuckerman, Gegare and Slawson are the most respected men in the central because there members know they don’t just do it for the money unlike these other Teamsters I know. It says plenty that even Hoffas good buddies Greg Tarpindian and Rick Leebow supports there slate.

SUPPORT REAL TEAMSTERS SUPPORT THE GEGARE SLAWSON ZUCKERMAN SLATE IF U WANT REAL CHANGE!!!

2011:

You aren't kidding when you say Gegare singlehandedly saved Central States. Hoffa and Hall caved into UPS partly because fathead was afraid of the threat of proproganda UPS was going to put out on him, along with having the gaterade poured over his head for getting card check for overnight. Even after Hoffa and Hall cut the deal to let UPS our of Central States pension (equivalent to 600 million annually) Gegare pushed to get an additional 2 billion from UPS because he had the foresight to understand employers would be lining up like cord wood to get out of the pension.

So we have UPS freight with a sub-standard contract, no agreement to be in pension or health and welfare. Plus this agreement is undercutting our other freight companies like Yellow,USF Holland, etc. F___KING BRILLENT HOFFA!

There is also no agreement for UPS to stay in Health and Welfare after the 2011 election. So where do you think that is going to leave the rest of us? If Hoffa succeeds in dismantling Central States all the other pension plans in the Country will go down too.

Gegare came up through the ranks. He was a Steward, Business Agent, Officer and earned his VP status. Hoffa seems to think this Union is a family business and its all about him and his family. He went to law school--big deal. He has no idea what memebers, stewards, business agents and officers face everyday.

Hoffa surrounds himself with outsiders like Deaner and Thompson, and hires anti-union attorneys and personnel as consultants. Like the witch he hired from Goodwill--most surprisingly a very anti-union organization.

Most telling is when the contract with OPEIU for IBT workers was being negotiated and he sent out memos that he had no problem bringing in replacement workers! WTF!!!!! How can we let this guy stay in charge? He must go or our great Union will most certainly die.

SUPPORT THE GEGARE, ZUCKERMAN, SLAWSON SLATE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Bigone:

At least Gegare, Zuckerman and Slawson give a rats ass about the members, and fight for the members. What has Hoffa done for the members? Oh yeah, the Rabin Center in Israel. WOW, that really does so much for the membership.

Bigone: I find it interesting, how one minute you're not for Hoffa, and you talked up Gegare. Now that your gone, the tables turn. So which is it? Nothing you say, can be trusted. FYI- Since Bigone cannot have the GP spot, so much for the welfare of the members. Bigone, only cares about Bigone.

So, Gegare is running for General President, that sounds about right. Typical Freddy.

Instead of taking responsibility for his own errors in judgement and negotiating shortcomings, he makes a lot of noise to create a distraction and blame others.

The Wisconsin Windbag has a long history of Talking Tall AND Settling Short. Basic Vegetable, the Wisconsin Garbage strike, Central States. Now he says he’s going to take the top spot? I’ll believe it when I see it.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!

Fred Gegare has decided to make sacrifices to run for International President. He has committed to the members to swear off booze during the election campaign.

You just made my point.

Maybe Fred should have called Terry BEFORE he started writing checks with his mouth that he expected the MEMBERS in Chicago and Wisconsin to cash.

Terry led the most successful garbage strike in recent memory, probably the most successful strike during all of the Hoffa years. Terry was the regional waste coordinator. Gegare knows NOTHING about waste. But did Gegare care about the MEMBERS, or did he care about acting like the know-it-all, blustery, bigshot?

Gegare risked the livelihoods of hundreds of Teamsters without calling on the one man best suited to help their cause. Then when it all fell apart, Gegare was forced to SETTLE SHORT once again, and he has Terry fired from his position with the IBT. Now tell me Groucho, HOW DOES THAT HELP THE MEMBERS?

This is a recurring theme with the Wisconsin Windbag. I’ll say it again like I said in my first post, and I’ll keep saying it: INSTEAD OF TAKING RESPONSIBILITY FOR HIS OWN ERRORS IN JUDGEMENT AND NEGOTIATING SHORTCOMINGS, GEGARE MAKES A LOT OF NOISE TO CREATE A DISTRACTION AND BLAME OTHERS.

Gegare thinks he’s an expert on everything, but he isn’t. Just look at what happened to the funding levels at Central States after it received that $6,000,000,000 infusion from UPS. But we’ll go into that later.

What everyone forgets is that even after they fired Terry, they then (IBT, Hoffa, Local 200)had to call him and ask him to please try and help the members at Localo 200.
After everything they did to him, vilafied him, lied about him, and yes sacrificed him, he did the right thing and saved everyone and everything he could.
if it wasnt for him it would be a non-union barn full of replacement workers and those who crossed the line.

That's the truth, if anyone says that it happened differently then they are a liar.
