I for one know how TDU destroys Locals and the proof is how Carey and TDU destroyed the warehouse division of the IBT. Deals made with C@S, White Rose and how Carey allowed a Teamster Local in New Jersey to break Local 138 strike against White Rose.UPS you are next they talk a good game but what they will do is cost you jobs. When will the IBT learn that the best way to stop these people from destroying the Teamsters is act faster when problems come up in Locals .TDU is not for the working man or women they are only for TDU .

Please explain to us what Hoffa has done! Tell us that he didn't trade away the UPS contract and allowed UPS to buy out of the CS pension plan so that UPS would hand over Freight on a silver platter. Tell us why UPS Freight does not participate in a teamster pension plan.

Please tell me the last local that publicly supported Hoffa that won their recent election. Hoffa had ruined the Teamsters and his days are done!

Local 174 just had an Election that wasn't won by TDU. That Local was the heart of TDU for years and for the second straight election Rick Hicks and his slate kicked TDU's ass!

Why do members feel that if your not TDU your a Hoffa supporter? That is not the case! Hoffa's time has come and gone. He may run again and if he does he will get beat bad. I fully expect a slate to form that will not be TDU and will be comprised of ex-Hoffa supporters. Anyone who is on Hoffa's current executive board is nuts if they think Hoffa can win again. If our members elect Sandy Pope and her TDU scum it will lead to destruction of our Union.

Lucky for Pat, his video selling out his own freight members was not out before nominations. An election was held for 1 B.A spot, not the whole slate. I have $100 saying pat is done in his next election!

I guess the real question is why do members think someone is TDU because they are talked about on the TDU site? I am not a Hoffa supporter and I am not a TDUer I am a Teamster that believes in the members rights. Can you name just one bad thing about Sandy Pope? I have asked this question several times over the years here and no one can answer.

I have meet Sandy when she was here campaigning and in Vegas. She is a smart woman and her members love her. I have no idea if she is running, but I will tell you that she looks better in a bikini than Jimmy!!!!

And with Jimmy's track record that alone is enough of a reason for me to vote for her!

And I'll take that $100.00 from you and I know right where to go to collect.

Running un-opposed should tell you that 710 members are happy with the representation they are getting.

You'll need to post those bikini pics for those who cant decide who to vote for. The Republicans have Sarah Palin...TDU has Sandy Pope. When all else fails, sex sells!

When you are talking about a local like 710 it is hard to run an election. The area covered is spread out through at least 3 states. Pat has lost his freight support, especially after the video of him asking for his white paper to be removed has been made public.

http://www.teamster....surer-local-710

Pat keeps raiding other locals for their membership, and eventually it will come back to bite him. Your out west, I'm off of Randall rd, but your be giving me $100, but i will buy us both a few beers with it.

In Las Vegas Nevada Local 995's officers, Hoffa supporters, got reelected unoppessed and Local 14 also Hoffa supporters just had their election and won.

And the list goes on and on ........

Im a member of 631 in Las Vegas. During our last election we voted in a slate of new officers. I did vote for them. They are TDU and they are destroying our local. We had a dollar raise in our wages at the beginning of December. They had a vote at the union hall to put the entire raise into our insurance. Only have of the convention members knew about the vote. I didnt because I was out of town. Somehow our members voted to put the entire raise into the insurance and nothing on the paycheck. I find this really hard to believe. They also voted to raise the number of hour required to be eligible for insurance. Under the old hours rule I only qualified six months this year. Under the new maybe I will qualify one month next year. Our convention industry is dieing! There is no was our members voted for this. Everyone I ask says the voted "NO". They say more votes were cast than members who voted. I voted for change and change I got. I did not know what TDU was before the election. I do now.

We all need demons to blame our problems on. The GOP blames unions. the union blame the corporations. The hoffa guys blame the TDU. The TDU blames Hoffa.

There are good and bad in all people and all things. Hoffa is the only individual is this argument. Holding an individual accountable is the members right and responsibility.

I guess I like many other Teamsters who have lost their jobs should hold Sandy Pope accountable because Paff is not a Teamster .

Keep the focus on the demons. And the TDU didn't cost you or anyone else their job, White-rose left long island because that warehouse was a nightmare. And nothing the union could do to stop them. it happens all the time. Those crocked union officials that took payoffs got caught and were punished. There are always gonna be rotten apples in the bunch. There are plenty to go around.

White Rose left because of WHAT who told you that ? White Rose was moved to break the union the warehouse in NJ was being built before their contract ran out .Money was taken by corrupt TDU officials to help the company break the union ,The IBT under Carey Pope and other TDU officials gave the jobs of the White Rose workers to a corrupt NJ local ,the same TDU officials at the IBT tried to cover up what these TDU officials did and when they were convicted the IBT answer was to merge the Local with a Carey flunky in 802.They only got caught because of one non TDU official who refused to let the IBT cover up what was going on I laugh when I hear TDU people talk about how honest they are and how they are for the members all I can say TDU is full of rotten apples.
