Oh! Its only pre season and it does not count you say. $hit........... At least they are doing better than the Raiders. Hard to believe that they keep getting good players, win against the best teams at times and then lose to the worst ones. Dumb asshole for an owner who used to have a good sense for the game and Davis the scooge hires cheap meathead coaches like the one they've got right now.
Owners make a big difference as teams like New England and the Steelers keep showing year in and year out. The 49ers were great when DeBartolo (Eddie D.) was the owner, but since the league forced Eddie D. out and the sister and her socialite hubby York took over many years ago, its been one mediocre team after another. Rotten shame.

Well, the first bright move for the fortyniners. Putting Alex Smith in as the QB. Too bad that they are playing the Colts, arguably the best team in the NFL on their home turf. They've got a shot though, very much a longshot but we'll see. Might just be a good game.

I totally with you. First, Get a decent coach in there and work from the top up. It starts with coaching. They need to rebuild, but the team does have some talent!
