Can anyone come up with a viable buyout package for us remaining Teamsters at DHL?
I am talkin' about a number that will take care of medical, vacation time accrued, sick $$ payout, P-Day$ and co$t of living.
"How do you like them apples?"
Don't forget the 40/hr contribution paid into the pension monthly they count.
I say there is some number that DHL has ready.
After the reduction by severance scare and the closing of so many areas with union labor, they must have come to some affordable figure.
I am thinking of a number.
This will not be a number the IBT would care to estimate because of the possible losses to their cashflow.
The new PTers will be dues payers.
Can the IBT at least work on the continued H&W if we get some BUYOUT?
I am thinking of a number. ( it i$ big )

Great support all along the way people.
You saw us get "boned" and watched us get sent away.
Now you don't acknowledge any of us.
Go on, keep to yourself and see what that will get you.
You won't get much back from us.
I guess you all came out ahead, still working and all.
Poor excuse for members to tell the truth.
Nothing like "old school"
Everybody is too busy now to care about others.
What a shame.

I have no problem now removing the DHL Forum.
Thank you for all you provide and that is still here, great job for all the members.
I appreciate all you have done, carry on.
Be sure to call me when you come East

DHL,
I don't think that it is a matter of nobody caring. Its probably more like nobody knowing the latest information about DHL's current status. This special forum no doubt served its purpose when there were a large number of Teamsters employed at DHL and there was a lot going on there. Does not seem to be the case any more and my guess would be that this forum will soon be integrated into the TeamsterTalk forum.

I know what you mean DHL from Boston I think there scared or have no balls because they don't stand up like the old school bothers did and sacrificed everything we had was from them and if we don't grow some balls and stand up against DHL and stop the subcontracting that's going on both INTL and domestic&air we at local 70 been fileing grievances left and right just to let you know they dhl thought there dispatch problem would go away and payed out over 700,000.00 dollars in grievances then they stoped but we are still catching them doing are work and this is only on the west coast so you guys on the east wake up and file or say good bye to our jobs at dhl express once again here is my cell 408-504-5951 I transferred into local 70 Oakland Ca . I'm not a DHL employee, but I read an article on Forbes.com titled: Deutshe Post DHL's Doctor Fixit dated 10/08/09. This new chief executive Frank Appel talks of the mistake of throwing out the management at Airborne after purchase, was a mistake.
