If you don't have enough time to retire.. You probably don't have enough time to survive the cuts. 10% of your seniority list at the time of ratifying this historic contract is all that will be left by Feb. 27th. Yep... if your list was 350.. maybe you work part time if you were 35

Here in SYR we are down to 20 drivers from 50 ...plus a driver was privy to an email to a very large customer that DHL will be shutting down US operations besides International deliveries and a next day 5PM delivery. He wanted a copy of it but was told no and wasn't suppsed to see it anyway. By the way more cuts are coming and now the next thing we heard is our barn and the contractors bldg next door will be closed and the work will be outsourced. Makes sense...theres been alot of work being done to this property to spuce it up to sell...C'mon people the writing is on the wall...I said this 2 weeks ago!!!!

Looks like we rode the donkey until the donkey dropped dead. If you are in the Philly area, I understand Waste Management is hiring. I would not happy jumping from an air-conditioned sprinter onto the back of a trash truck, but it keeps food on the table and makes the pension contribution. I feel bad for those guys with bad backs from all that loading and unloading. They will have a tough time in the future. Guess they better dust off those old workers comp claims.....

hey everyone,

UPS is hiring anybody that work for DHL and got layoff. The hub is San Gabe in southerm California. They said they are hiring, but I can not gaurentee what you will be doing in the hub. Be honest with you, the reason i am doing this because they offer me $500 bonus if you stay with the company 3 months. You get the job and i get something out of it, we both happy. This is only for people that worked with DHL and got layyoff. They will ask you where you work at and show prove. If you interested let me know. you can send me email or call me direct at 626-416-8504 son9182@yahoo.com.
