Indiana's economy going to hell as well. Bush has destroyed America with his wars in the Middle East and special favors for his Wall Street buddies. Even if Obama can salvage what is left of this POS economy, future generations of workers are already condemned to lower wages and lower living standards than what we are used to. It's going to take a lot of hard work to regain what has been lost.

Bankruptcy filings are soaring in Indiana
As bankruptcies rise, Indiana ranks 5th on a per-capita basis for all types of filings

Bankruptcy filings in Indiana have soared 26.5 percent, the latest sign that the economy is slowing down and taking a toll on businesses and households.
The Hoosier state ranked second nationally for business filings per 1,000 residents, behind only Michigan, which has been hurt by a shift in auto manufacturing from large cars and trucks to more fuel-efficient vehicles.

Here at the DTW station, they laidoff all of our sales people at least a month or maybe even 2 months ago. We were told that we lost Nordstroms and Dell, but as far as I could tell as of last week, before I got laidoff myself, Dell was going strong, and Nordstroms wasn't far behind. I thought we got rid of the post office? We still have people delivering to the post offices and picking up there? Does management even know what they are talking about? We got a threatening letter from our station manager on Tuesday telling us that if we don't do what he wants then we will have more layoffs. We now have a set amount of time to get the BID routes done, seeing as he was previously and engineer for us, UPS and FEDEX, of course the numbers look good on paper, maybe the asshole needs to get in a truck and actually do a friggin route. They talk big, but until they are in the drivers shoes, they should keep their friggin mouths shut and see it from our perspective. I KNOW THAT WILL NEVER HAPPEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!

take the politics where it belongs. i didnt come here to hear your far left bull shit. i came here for news about dhl. if you want to blame somebody start with yourself. you voted for the piece of shit contract we now work under did you not? dhl labor is in trouble in this country because the members dont have the balls to fight for a good contract and the teamsters leadership doesnt give a rats ass about the members.
