This man comes into our Local... sets down and starts reading out the New Historic DHL Contract! First Artlicle.. per the man "Same language as NMFA" Art 2 "Same language as NMFA" Art3 "Same language as NMFA" and so on and so on. About 15 mins of this, one member stands up and says " IF it's the same language as NMFA, then Why The HELL isn't it the NMFA?" Then this man says... "I believe this contract is much better in many ways than the NMFA" and "You people never should have been in the Freight Division." Someone points out that he is standing in a Freight Local when he said this! Goes Bad from there. The Business Agent had to stand up and calm down the members, through out the meeting. This man told the members that the reason for red circling of names was to guarantee them 40 hours a week? Why not just put in the contract that full time were guaranteed 40 hours a week?
Now I read where the members support this contract ! !
