X174, the TDU is relevant to the extent that they serve the interests of their sponsors as well as the government boys who suck up our dues money to lord over us.

WTF brother we, on the East coast, were lumped into this alomg with the other NMFA areas who have had contracts that were guided by our regional. We didn't work under "white paper".
Now, all of a sudden we are to be slighted because of what? Because OUR officers did what we asked them to do for us.
They walked when they were alone and others sat and watched to see how it came along. Then we were back into negotiations.
So our regional look like the best of them now? I don't know because I haven't seen it. Shame on you if you do not understand how this is going.......

Did YOUR officers vote for to bring this historic bull shit back to the members ? According to the IBT the vote was unanimous ! 52 - 0 ... I for one am pissed cause it doesn't say 51 - 1 !! I know my local was there was yours?

I wouldn't know, but if so I share your feeling. It will be something to ask about on Sunday.
What a suck weekend this is going to be for some people.
Does that mean there were 52 locals represented and how many others will walk if/when we strike?
Another good question.

I recieved the recent flyer that someone sent me that is being distributed by TDU so I put together a flyer of my own. I would like a full discussion and debate about this so please reply to this thread if you have any comments, concerns or suggestions.

Please download and distribute to as many DHL Teamsters as possible.

Thanks.
