I am looking for any information regarding the trucker's strike of 1970 and a shooting that took place during this strike that resulted in the death of a man named Gary Kistler.

There were several Teamster truckers' strikes in 1970. Which one and what area are you referring to.
The name Gary Kistler does not ring a bell. How did he die?
Unfortunately, most often those that are killed in strikes are strikers despite all the false negative publicity about 'Union violence'.

I know the circumstances surrounding his death. My hope was to find someone who knew him or knew of him. The strike was in early 1970. I believe the shooting took place in May in the midwest.
