You would listen. Finally, Brother Leo Deaner had someone look into it. When they did they found what we had been telling you all along. That many of the Officials at Local 85 had been embezzling money. The embezzlement ran so deep that even the secretaries were embezzling from both the Local AND the IBT along with some of the Officials-- from the Joint Council 7 Commercial Driving Program. Although I have never heard it from Brother Rome Aloise personally, I have heard on good auktority when he asked them for the records (all the records and billing somehow were changed from Local 70 to Local 85) they initially told him to basically go f--k himself and they would not turn over the records. The records are damning and they show how the Local Officials and employees embezzled monies from the IBT through false billing, and other abuses that took place. To the tune of HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS they stole from the IBT-- and by extension the Membership of the IBT. Then you uncovered that they have stolen MILLIONS from Local 85 and the Membership of Local 85 and you have DONE NOTHING. You have tried to keep it quiet. That's your solution. Like if you keepit quet it will go away. When Ron Carey embezzled the monies from DRIVE with Bill Hamilton, Mike Ansara, SHARE and the Novemeber group, boy we had it ALL OVER the Internet-- didn't we?

Brother Chuck, I still love you to death, but I have to disagree with you on this one.
You're raising Hell in Local 624 over some BULLSHIT and you are letting these CROOKS AND EMBEZZLERS get away with bloody murder so that you won't look bad and you can quietly ride of into the Sunset toward retirement.

As I have stated to you NUMEROUS times in the past, both in person and on the phone, Brother Chuck: THIS IS JUST PLAIN WRONG AND WHAT YOU ARE DOING IS REALLY NOT A SOLUTION AT ALL.

You have conceeded to me, Brother Chuck, that through your actions (or lack therof) you have enabled this people to become bolder and do more until they thought they were untouchable and could get away with murder. It's time for this shit to stop, Brother!

Merging Local 95 with Local 70 may solve part of the problem, but it won't erase THE UNDISPUTABLE FACT that these people embezzled MILLIONS from both Local 85 and the IBT and they SHOULD be held accountable for their actions.

Otherwise, what kind of message are we sending to the Membership of the IBT? It's okay to embezzle millions (and we'll keep our mouths shut about it) as long as you at least through more words than deeds claim to support Brother Hoffa, and don't make any waves in the Joint Council?

Right is right, Brother Chuck and wrong is nobody!

No one is untouchable, Brother Chuck. And certainly not those inept, incompetent clowns who can't even EMBEZZLE right!

AS you know, both the IRB and the IBT Chief Investigator Tom Schatz are aware of these FEDERAL CRIMES these people committed-- which is even more reason for you to do the right thing, Brother Chuck.

I certainly don't question your morals or personak integrity, Brother Chuck, but as I have stated to you DOZENS UPON DOZENS of times (and will continue to state) I vehemently disagree with your solution to this problem. In fact, it's not a solution at all. Brothers Faaola, Elliot, and myself raised these very issues before the entire Joint Council-- and the Officials of the Local lloked at you square in the eye and LIED their asses off to all of you. They probably had a good laugh over it. Certainly we've told you numerous times the insuling names they call you behind your back, and the disgusting things they say about you, and how they ridule you in front of rank and file Members of the Local. Many times I've found myself standing up for both you and the leadership of the IBT when irt seems like you guys don't want to stand up for yourselves...

These guys are making you look bad, Brother. They are treating you like you are a punk. I'm not going to let them treat you like that, and I simply WON'T be treated like that myself.

This is far from over, Brother. We have not heard the end of this yet. And after three years of strife, these guys outed as the crooks they truly are, please rest assured of one thing. And I think you know me, and what I am capable of, to take this for what it's worth": I haven't even started yet. The last three years have been warming up. The truth is a motherfucker, and THE TRUTH cannot be suppressed forver. There is ABSOLUTELY NO WAY IN HELL that this will quitely go away and be forgotten. Watch what comes next!

Then he met her family ,the Scirillos,and they said you can never date a puerto rican,your from port richmond.So well have to call him italian and get him a job.I dont know sounds a little like nepotism to me, but you be the judge.
So big brother Tony takes him up and demands that they put this poor italian kid from the ghetto to work.
He gets him a job and i think he gets him into CF but that didnt last to long because hes fired for stealing soon after.
Then he goes up to yellow and im pretty sure he was accused of stealing there also,so now hes day playing ,theater work ,convention center, but tonys not happy that his new found adopted spanish/inlaw brother isnt working every day.
So Tony being the tough guy that he is decides hes going to muscle in on some of this work.
To his suprise nobody takes him serious and poor lil louie is unemployed.
Not for long because ,Tony is going to teach louie how to drive a truck.
Louie says "ju really going to teach me how to drive".
So hes on the road now driving for berger brothers,sounds like nepotism to me doesnt it??? (big bro in law tony works for bb).
But thats not the issue here,while hes there he flips a tractor trailer and still keeps his job.Well of course it wasnt his fault,so he goes back to work and if im not mistaken he gets into another accident,by then tonys mad ,not because of the accident,see now it seems louie's not happy at home .
So he wants to travel and sow his wild oats ,or should i say wild rice .
And decides he wants to be an organizer but i dint think that went over to well, i think he was misusing his perdiem for food and printing fake receipts while he was being paid by the international to speak spanish to these foreign truckers and to get them to start joining.
But that never panned out the way it was suppose to go,so louie came home and decided he wanted to be one of John Dooleys mouth piece,that didnt work out either .
See It seems he had some loyalty to the vp on the Hamilton slate, Tony frasco.
He wanted to split his vote one for Dooley and one for Frasco.
Where does that leave brother in law Tony at??? Hmmmm.
Seems like we have a shituation here,so he tells frasco in closed doors im voting for you,and why not he knows hes not going to have a job when this is all said and done.
Especially when bro in law Tony finds out .
So he never tells his family that hes been secretly meeting with Frasco and telling him hes voting for him while hes out with his family politicking.nice isnt it.
It gets better ,after the election they have a falling out ,not only is he not a scrillo no more, hes not even italian!!
So he disapears for awhile and of course he reconnects with his old freind Tony Frasco,i always liked you, Tony says and puts him on a movie and tells him to be on his best behavior.
Well Well Well,it seems that he cant behave himself,doesnt like being told what to do.
So he gets into a few spats with the captains .
Nothing major just threatens to beat a few id say older than middle aged men up ,you know how them port richmond/fishtown guys are ,they dont like being disrespected.
So after the captains complain they still keep him,and all is fine til he smashes two air condition units on the star trailer while being led to camperland .
It seems he didnt realize the trees were as low as they were ,and when asked what happened to the units he said it wasnt him and that he didnt give a fuck about them!
When confronted by the captain who basically asked what happened to the units he threatened the man and told him he would choke the shit out of the old man if he didnt get away from him.
I gotta say he is one scary fellow. So you would think his movie career is over right???? Wrong .
Tony puts him on another movie where he comes in late doesnt show up and refuses to drive to new york.
Mind you, youre job as a teamster on a movie is to drive.
But enough about that now it seems that louie wants to do the right thing ,and he decides to call the I.R.B and tell them about all the corruption in this local and tell them whats been going on behind the scenes .
You know the nepotism and gambling that goes on in this local.
Are you fucking kidding me , heres a kid that should of been fired or has been fired form about 3 different jobs for stealing .
He also forgets about all the windows that got smashed during that election him and his cronies were running.
And now hes not happy with where he stands in this local he wants to unseat people who have been around far to many years than he can remember let alone count.
I was told as a kid that i could be what ever i wanted as long as i tried my best and gave my all.
And guess what im happy to be a teamster in this great local , as for you louie youve tried your best at a lot of things like,
STEALING, WANNABE TUFF GUY,FLIPPING TRUCKS,MISUSING FUNDS,THREATENING PEOPLE, and now your best job yet A WANNABE-RAT!
Good luck that with that louie and not for nothing when is this union going to smarten up and get rid of these scumbags .

Organizers say the rally is a show of unity as Anheuser-Busch is in the process of being acquired by Belgium brewer InBev. The rally begins at 1 p.m. at Kiener Plaza.

Teamsters from all 12 of Anheuser-Busch's U.S. breweries are expected to be joined by St. Louis union members and by officials from InBev unions from around the world.

Anheuser-Busch agreed last month to a $52 billion takeover by InBev in a merger that will create the world's largest brewery. InBev has said it will keep open all 12 of Anheuser-Busch's U.S. breweries and use St. Louis as its U.S. headquarters.

Hogan has agreed to permanent exile from the local his family has run since the Depression.

Without admitting wrongdoing, Mr. Hogan recently signed an agreement with the Independent Review Board saying he’ll leave Teamsters Local 714 and never again serve as an officer, employee or member there, Crain’s has learned. A New York federal judge must approve the settlement.

Mr. Hogan, 44, once one of Chicago’s highest-profile union leaders, blames much of his troubles on his one-time ally, International Brotherhood of Teamsters General President James P. Hoffa, who took over the local in June, a move Mr. Hogan says ultimately led him to settle the outstanding accusations against him.

The events leading to Mr. Hogan’s departure have left the former union leader angry at Mr. Hoffa, suspicious that Mr. Hoffa may seek to break up Local 714 and wondering whether the move against him was Mr. Hoffa’s way of seeking to eliminate a potential political rival. Some people familiar with the case believe Mr. Hoffa’s actions are intended to show the federal government that the Teamsters can adequately police themselves and are tough on corruption.

(Washington, D.C.) – Teamster-endorsed candidates Clint Zweifel and Chris Koster won heated battles in the Missouri State Democratic Primary on Tuesday, as working families in the “Show Me” state took an important step in electing politicians that will work to protect their interests.

Zweifel, a state representative and member of Teamsters Local 688 in St. Louis, Missouri, won a clear victory over four other candidates for state treasurer, garnering more than 31 percent of the votes. Zweifel has been a staunch supporter of working families, fighting for high-quality education, retirement security and access to affordable health care.

“As a state representative, Clint has been a true champion for the working men and women of Missouri,” said Teamsters General President Jim Hoffa. “A lifelong Missourian from a working-class family and a union member, Clint has firsthand knowledge of the challenges middle-class, blue-collar workers face every day. As state treasurer, I know he will continue to fight the good fight.”

As state senator, Koster became the first politician in the history of Missouri state politics to switch parties, leaving the Republican party to become a Democrat after the state’s GOP strayed too far from his personal and political values. i am currently serving a 5 day suspension without pay

Well just let me say that being from California I thought I had seen everything. After a great day golfing, by attending this dinner I thought the fun would continue.

I have really never been so embarrassed to be a woman. I was highly offended by the actions of this woman the way she was kissing and hugging all the men. I’m not sure that there wasn't a lap she missed in the place. Her level of entertainment is the kind of thing that put all women in a bad light. She was being the kind of woman that is the reason we have so many new rules about being even remotely friendly in the work place.

You could clearly see on the men’s face's the embarrassment they were feeling and that they were too polite as men to just toss her on the floor just to get away from her.

I asked around to see who this person was and they said her name was Helen the president from the local 995. I needed this information so I could make all the attempts possible to keep distant from her at any function in the future. That is of course should I dare to attend another one in hopes that someone would have put a leash on this dog.

The local 995 should be ashamed of having a representative with that demeanor. She does not represent her position (unlike the positions she was showing us that night) with the Teamsters with dignity and pride, unless of course that is what goes on down here. Believe me it has left a bad taste in my mouth for future trips.
