After all the help the IBT gave, and bad Slawson who worked hard on the historic "DHL National Contract" I offer all my thanks to the reps who worked hard on our regional supplement up here. Some important language that belongs. They will have plenty to do this contract. Long hours and time away while speaking when others would not, they were heard. Plus the guy at the mike who knows it isn't easy.
I admire some of the work done by US DHLTeamsters who continue nationally to remain aware of the issues. See you at the anniversary? Parttimers and layoffs should not work to benefit the company in any way. The coming job fair should give them an indication. We' ll see. Well they have the contract they wanted because basically only 55% of the ballots sent out turned into returned votes. That is really something, isn' t it? ....and of those returned votes, 82% favorable? They have begun spending money making the properties look better. Paint, landscaping, cleaning etc. They must figure to have a good grip on labor spending now. Never forget FUMU U DIG? -------------------- OUR OFFICERS FOR OUR NEEDS
