I agree with you 673teamster. Roger is a liar. He complains about grievances and stewards but he doesn't tell you that he was FIRED as a steward at his own barn. His own co-workers signed a petition to get him removed because he was not processing grievances properly! He failed as a steward how in the hell is he going to run a local? All of the stuff they put out on the street was B.S. Feel sorry for those people who were duped. He even hired a guy that was ineligible to run for office due to non-payment of dues. Yeah, thats just who you want to represent you on the street, a guy who doesn't think paying dues is important. Thats TDU for you. Teamsters Destroying the Union. Idiots!

Reform673 SUX It seems we feel the same way. Rogers election was only by 24% or less of the total membership. From what i heard he didnt even expect to win. So where does that leave the local? Roger and his group of non experienced officers and agents could turn back the clock on the progress the local has made under Tom Custer.Talk is cheap and Roger kohler did plenty of that! Where is the transition team he promised? Have Roger or any agents visited any barnes? Where is his interactive web site? Have they taken a pay cut as promised?Have they done anything to earn what they have been paid allready? -------------------- "We have always been a fighting union. Unfortunately, it leaves it f**ked! His so-called "agents" have no idea what the hell they are doing. What the hell would an owner-operator know about the waste industry? He claimed to have this diverse slate. From what I see there is one freight guy a couple of rock haulers and a couple of ready-mix guys. I have heard from a few members that the Reform idiots aren't even returning phone calls. Members have left messages and nobody calls them back. They just don't have the answers. I still can't believe people bought their B.S. You are right about the percentage, its really sad that people don't vote when it comes in a self-addressed postage paid envelope. I hear guys saying stuff like "Man I should have voted, I thought Custer had it". You have to vote, bottom line. -------------------- If You Don't Stand For Something.....You'll Fall For Anything!!

He didnt meet with custer his first day, didnt show up to be seated at the joint council. Local 673 has allways been active within the joint council with good standing. Let this be a message to the members, dont let someone else make your decisions for you!Become an active member!Union wages are what keep your house warm and your children fed.The membership has not spoken yet! -------------------- "We have always been a fighting union. Well, anyone who has a problem with these Reform idiots should quit making excuses and come to the membership meeting tomorrow. I don't want to hear any complaints from people who can't make to at least a couple of meetings a year. It's amazing how many people can show up to get free stuff at the Christmas meeting but could care less about the rest of the year. Four of his new guys never attended membership meetings before the election. If I never attended a meeting I would be embarrased to run for office or even ask for a B.A. position. How can you possibly help when you are out of touch with your local? -------------------- If You Don't Stand For Something.....You'll Fall For Anything!!

Roger also used the same card for more than one person so they didnt have to pay dues. DOES THIS SOUND LIKE A PERSON WHO SHOULD BE RUNNING A TEAMSTER LOCAL? -------------------- "We have always been a fighting union. Roger continues his scab ways now he is using union dues money to purchase a scab $30,000 copier once a scab always a scab. Is it really a $30k copier ? OR was it the membership voted to let him spend $30k on numerous things not just the $16k copier ? Do you realize how bad you make the local look when you guys get on here and just complain about one thing afterthe other? Is Mr. Kohler perfect -- I bet not - Was Mr. Custer perfect -- HELL NO. - These guys have been in office Since January and you guys haven't let up yet. Why not wait for them to do something that's wrong or even illegal and crucify them then? If that were to happen. If you thought you could do a better job than the existing officers wouldn't you try to run against them ? Am I a scab because I voted for them? Am I a scab because I am willing to give them a chance to try to make things better? There are laws in place that can stop them from doing alot of things without the memberships permission. isn't everything over $10k have to go to a member vote before they can buy it ? Unless things drastically change, they are there for another 2 1/2 years. Why not make things as well as possible for your fellow teamsters, the hall and you ? In the next election, if you feel they are not worth thier salt, vote them out. |

Do you realize how bad you make the local look when you guys get on here and just complain about one thing afterthe other? Get your head out your ass Rob. Complaining is different than holding them accountable like they asked during their campaign. I hold them to the same standards that they held Custer to. Again if you attended the meetings then you would know what I am talking about. There are members from Yellow who have made great efforts to be at the monthly meetings, where have you been? You work as a Teamster but does it make you a Teamster? You voted for a scab so does it make you one? Teamster is not just a title, is a way of life! Learn it, live it, love it! TDU SUXIs Mr. Kohler perfect -- I bet not - Was Mr. Custer perfect -- HELL NO. - These guys have been in office Since January and you guys haven't let up yet.
