Yes, I wish someone with some inside info would post something about this. I wonder which Local 728 BA got tossed out of an APWA meeting. icon_evil.gif

Is it true that Randy Brown signed in at the meeting?

If you are trying to even insinuate that Our president Randy Brown was at that meeting, you prove that you are nothing but a lying piece of shit whose posts from now on should be dismissed as completely useless and non factual. ALL of us need to be untited against anyone that is trying to destroy OUR union.

I am confused..how does someone (no matter who or whom) get arrested for attending a meeting of a group that is trying to gain member support?

What outrageous thing did the person in question do...that required some one to call the police?

I attended some pretty HOT Union meetings in my day (at Local 728)..one got soo out of hand I asked the guy next to me..if somone should call the cops..."and get a brother Teamster arrested?...have you lost your F**King mind?...I can't stand the bastard thats spouting off..but, if the cops drag him out of here I'll be the first one down to bail him out!", was his reply.

Now..perhaps the APWA would like to tell their side of the story..they had to have some reason for calling the cops!...and their supporters have a right to know what happened.

Stark,
He asked question's icon_redface.gif Yep, they want you to drink the kool-aid before asking questions. Then they have to be pre-approved questions icon_lol.gif One has to ask where is there backing coming from. They don't have nearly enough fools singed up to support there meetings and lawyers. I'm willing to bet that some other "union busting" organizations is helping the two self-appointed scabs out. They claim to be transparent so why not show us there source of income?

From what I understand, which is heresay, "Higgie", who is my BA, attended this meeting to "ask questions" which were probably embarassing to the APWA organizers. Since they rented the Meeting Room at the motel, they do have the right to higher security and remove someone who is being disruptive. That is what they have done in other parts of the country. "Higgie" wasn't there to give his $150.00 to join up, he was there to raise hell. I'm glad to see my dues hard at work, maybe Randy will give him a Bonus icon_eek.gif . Usually I see Higgie in my Hub about once a week, I have wanted to ask him about this. I wish someone who was actually there would post some details. icon_lol.gif

This sounds just like you Eric using your foul mouth and calling people names while you hide behind someone else or a screen name. Haven't you read what people who know something about have posted here? Now who is really the fucking ashole lying peice of shit? You still did not answer the question and can you back up your answer with a roster from that meeting. Be careful of what you post here because there are some of us that know what we are talking about. We don't take bits and peices of conversations and make up tales then post what we think is correct instead we will give the whole nine yards unlike you or your few friends (BC, Newsflash did I miss any of your friends) who post what you tell them to post.

We all got to work together instead of fighting amongst ourselves. United we stand - divided we fall ! Or the alternative might be chosen , we know that the members at UPS will be the ones paying the price if unions are changed, especially a company union like APWA.

I am here to defend my union The International Brotherhood of Teamsters and local union 728!!! That's why I sent the feeder driver from Knoxviile and his APWA trash back to Knoxville telling him not to bring that crap back into our hub. If he wants another union quit and go to work somewhere else. I hope you take your last sentence to heart from this day forward because there are other ways to destroy our union. It happens every Wednesday for you. Any job worth doing is worth doing it right. I will fight the fight against APWA because my union is worh fighting for. As Alan Lamb once stated in front of some of us one night "I AM A TEAMSTER MAN NOT JUST A DUES PAYING MEMBER". WE all must fight against AWPA!!!!!!!

Guys dig in and protect what you got.....APWA wouldn't want it if the Company had it....your PENSION...

Several years ago I asked questions, I was a little old in the "starting over" game, had a few options to consider most non-Union....in the end I stuck with the Union job..at a time when there was great turmoil within the ranks of the IBT....but, in the end the Union righted itself, the bluster of bull s**t went its' way, sure TDU took a few Locals but quickly became an entirely different TDU...just ask Don Scott and Doug Mims former President and vice Presidents of Local 728

Sure, Ron Carey rode into power with the promise of big (UPS) Pensions and strong armed it across during the UPS strike an incresase that was, in its' inception precarious at best..

Now, the Teamsters have yet another group that has come forward the APWA seeking to single out a select few, in this case UPS...gonna give you your "rights deserts" to hell with "other Teamsters"...in fact YOU don't even need the Teamsters to do for you what WE can..........well, abot 30 or 40 years ago the Carhaulers could have said the same damn thing!

It was the Carhaulers that actually forged the way for the current Central States Pension Fund, (at least in the South) and if they had of formed a "sub Union/Pension enity" blocking any pension increases for ALL other Central States beneficaries (keep in mind that some of the highest paid Teamsters at the time)..you gotta wonder why they were willing to........."share"......at the time major freight companies were going out of business, due to deregulation and higher fuel costs...and UPS was the "new kid" on the block with "pension consecessions" that would mean pension increases would be delayed...

Well, it seems pretty obvious the Carhaulers have been replaced by UPS...APWA is replacing TDU with grand Pension promises..but, in the end it's Teamsters being Teamsters that come through in the end..............why?...........because you can't take promises to the bank...no matter how good the "promise" sounded at the time...like I said ask Don Scott, Doug Mims...and Ron Carey....
