Can someone please direct me to the area where I can find an updated version of T Net's Rules and policy?
My posts are being removed from this web site and I wish to find out what rule or policy I am breaking and remedy this matter. -------------------- "Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other." John Adams. |

That patience has, however, run out (and according to the in-person conversations I had with fellow TNETizens at the convention as well as the PMs I receive from numerous posters, I'd say it's long overdue). Therefore, if those of you who continually have problems operating under TNET's rules continue to attack me (personally or professionally) with redundant whining, complaining, and/or through other posts blatantly violating the self-evident rules TNET has (such as, but not limited to, intellectual property, intentionally posting in the wrong forum, and harassing/abusing/stalking other TNET members), then there'll be no more simple warnings and nice guy tactics. From now on, when it's obvious that you're intentionally violating the rules, or that you simply refuse to act like an adult, then I'll simply remove your post and bump up your "warning level" no questions asked. When your warning level reaches a pre-determined plateau, your account will be suspended for 10 days. If after serving that suspension you again engage in similar behavior, your account will be suspended for 30 days pending a review for possible termination. If you're not terminated and are instead allowed back after the 30 days but again flaunt the rules, then you'll be permanently barred. I'm done acting like a babysitter. You guys are old enough to act like grown ups, and will have to eventually do just that if you want to post here. You all know damn well what the rules are despite your protestations to the opposite which feign ignorance. I ain't buying it, and I'm done coddling. You guys wanna act like children? No problem. The TNET detention room is now open for business. -------------------- "Every man is guilty of all the good he didn't do." You agree, through your use of this service, that you will not use this bulletin board to post any material which is knowingly false and/or defamatory, inaccurate, abusive, vulgar, hateful, harassing, obscene, profane, sexually oriented, threatening, invasive of a person's privacy, or otherwise violative of any law. You agree not to post any copyrighted material unless the copyright is owned by you or by this bulletin board. ************************************** Any additional threads discussing TNET's TOS will hereinafter be considered as attempts to spam the board, and will be deleted in addition to the lead poster having their warning level bumped up (as already happened to you, Ed, owing to your pre-existing knowledge via a warning I issed you to not post multiple threads discussing the same issue ... a warning you ignored; had you not been previously warned on that precise issue, I'd have merely issued an informal warning - as I previously did - instructing you to not do it again.) Just as a clarification, the proscription against multiple threads on the same topic falls under the "abusive" provision in TNET's TOS, as "abuse" applies to not only other TNETizens, but TNET itself as well. As more threads equals more storage space and impairs TNETizens from finding the one "correct" thread dealing with an issue, multiple threads are proscribed, and intentional violations of that ban are considered wilfull and abusive, and will be dealt with accordingly. End of story. You guys agreed to these terms when you signed up as TNET members. There's no excuse for acting as though you weren't aware of what they were, as you had to check a box and press a button acknowledging your agreement to abide by those rules. Don't feign ignorance. -------------------- "Every man is guilty of all the good he didn't do." Voltaire -------------------- |

Voltaire Ok, that's all fine and dandy, but what if my post which was removed, was not, " knowingly false and/or defamatory, inaccurate, abusive, vulgar, hateful, harassing, obscene, profane, sexually oriented, threatening, invasive of a person's privacy, or otherwise violative of any law."? What if it was just an ordinary post like everyone else on the thread? What else is needed here, is a couple of lines of praise to the moderator now a hidden requirement? -------------------- "Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people.
